What to do if you bleed during pregnancy

What to do if you bleed during pregnancy

Mothers are always very careful when they are pregnant, but some problems are still inevitable. Sometimes accidents are unavoidable, such as bleeding during pregnancy. Bleeding during pregnancy is a very serious problem. If this happens, you need to go to the hospital for a detailed examination, listen to the doctor, and cooperate with the treatment. So what exactly causes bleeding during pregnancy and what aspects should we pay attention to? Here are some brief introductions, I hope it will be helpful to everyone.

(1) If you find vaginal bleeding, you should go to the hospital to see a doctor immediately. Never decide on your own to stay in bed and rest, as this will delay the treatment of the disease, especially in the case of ectopic pregnancy, which can be very dangerous and may result in loss of life.

(2) Ask your doctor to determine the cause of the bleeding through examination and treat it accordingly.

(3) By testing blood HCG and progesterone, determine whether vaginal bleeding is caused by progesterone deficiency. When threatened abortion is diagnosed, you should pay attention to rest. If bleeding is caused by insufficient progesterone to maintain the embryo, you can take tocolytic drugs to preserve the fetus. During the period of preserving pregnancy, blood HCG and progesterone levels should be checked weekly, and preserving pregnancy should be provided under dynamic monitoring.

(4) B-ultrasound should be performed at the right time. B-ultrasound can determine whether the embryo is inside or outside the uterus. At the same time, when the embryo develops to 5-6 weeks, the fetal heart rate can be clearly seen under B-ultrasound to determine whether the fetus is alive and guide the next step of how to preserve the fetus.

(5) If vaginal bleeding occurs, and vaginal examination reveals that the bleeding originates from the cervix rather than the uterine cavity, local treatment can be performed. First, a cervical examination should be done, including TCT and HPV to rule out human papillomavirus infection and cervical cancer. If polyps are present, remove them as appropriate.

(6) There are generally two reasons for miscarriage: one is a problem with the embryo itself, such as defects in the sperm or egg, or exposure to toxic or harmful environments or drugs that cause the embryo to become defective or die. The second is that the mother's ovaries are not fully functional and the hormones secreted are not enough to maintain the survival of the embryo, causing the embryo to shrink and die, or the mother's own disease makes the embryo unable to survive, resulting in miscarriage. Therefore, the success of preserving the fetus is due to the mother's reasons, and the failure of the embryo to be good is due to the natural law of survival of the fittest.

(7) In view of the above reasons, pregnant women with vaginal bleeding should have a calm attitude. Whether the embryo is good or not has nothing to do with the mother. It is not that the embryo will be fine just because the mother wants it to be fine. The embryo and the mother are two individuals. The embryo must adapt to various environments to survive. Therefore, the mother should have a good attitude to deal with everything that happens. Just like an apple tree, some flowers fall off as soon as they bloom and can never produce apples; some apples are small and fall to the ground when the wind blows; only a small number of them can produce big red apples. Therefore, the mother's mood is crucial to preserving the fetus.

(8) Since blood is the best culture medium, it can cause infection and travel up to the uterine cavity. Therefore, you should pay attention to the hygiene of the vulva, wash the vulva with running water every day, change underwear frequently, and keep the vulva clean. Sexual intercourse is prohibited during bleeding and pregnancy preservation.

This is the introduction about bleeding during pregnancy. I hope it will be helpful to you. But I still recommend that everyone go to the hospital for a detailed examination, and pregnant women should also pay attention to their exercise volume to avoid bumps and bruises. Pregnant women can buy some books about pregnant women when they have nothing to do at home. They can read them when they are at home. It is very helpful for mothers. I wish every mother has a healthy baby. I wish you a harmonious family.
