Temperature drops a few days before menstruation

Every time menstruation comes, it always brings a lot of problems to many women, and the various symptoms that come with it are also torture. Many women will experience a drop in body temperature before menstruation, so what is going on? Let me tell you about it today.

Basal body temperature refers to your body temperature in the morning before you wake up and move.

A woman's body temperature changes with her menstrual cycle:

Low temperature period (follicular phase): below 36.5 degrees, from the end of menstruation to the day of ovulation. High temperature period (luteal phase): above 36.8 degrees, the period from ovulation to the next menstrual period.

The two curves formed by the low temperature period and the high temperature period can clearly calculate the correct ovulation day.

During and after the menstrual period, the body temperature rises and falls by about 0.1 degrees and continues throughout the low temperature period. On the morning of the day when the low temperature period ends, the body temperature will be 0.3-0.4 degrees lower than the previous day, and this day is the ovulation day.

According to the menstrual cycle, it is about 14 days before menstruation.

Through the introduction of the above article, I believe everyone can understand the relevant knowledge. During menstruation, you should pay more attention to rest and pay attention to diet. Don’t eat spicy or cold food, which can easily lead to dysmenorrhea and cause irregular menstruation.
