What to do with cervical erosion cyst

What to do with cervical erosion cyst

With the quickening pace of life, women have occupied a more important position in the workplace, which also means that women are under increasing pressure. Coupled with the fact that women's physique is relatively weaker than men's, the types and incidence of gynecological diseases in women have increased year by year. Cervical erosion cyst is a chronic gynecological disease. For female friends, it is a very harmful disease. If it is not treated in time, it will have very serious consequences and may even lead to infertility. So what should women do if they are infected with diseases such as cervical erosion cyst?

1. Drug treatment of cervical erosion cyst

Drug treatment is mainly suitable for non-pregnant patients with mild to moderate cervical erosion cysts with shallow inflammatory infiltration, small erosion area or limited conditions. Local corrosion is carried out with 25% silver nitrate, chromic acid, etc. The vagina should be irrigated before medication, and then wiped dry with dry cotton balls, and the normal vaginal mucosa should be protected with cotton balls. However, it should be noted that drug treatment generally takes a long time and costs more. Currently, Chinese medicine powders have certain therapeutic effects, but they are prohibited from use during menstruation and pregnancy.

2. Treatment of cervical erosion cyst with traditional Chinese medicine

(1) Egg white

[Prescription] 1 fresh egg.

[Preparation and Usage] Break the eggs washed with disinfectant water and take the pure egg white. After the vagina is flushed with potassium permanganate solution, a gauze cotton ball dipped in egg white is inserted into the cervical opening. Take it out after 5 hours and change it 1 to 2 times a day. Stop treatment when menstruation occurs.

(2) Pig gallbladder pomegranate peel

[Prescription] 5 to 10 pig gallbladders and 60 grams of pomegranate peel.

[Preparation and Usage] Grind pig gallbladder and pomegranate peel into fine powder, add appropriate amount of peanut oil to make a paste, and bottle it for later use. Before use, clean the affected area with warm water, wipe dry the cervical secretions, and then dip the cotton ball tied with thread into the medicine and insert it into the cervical erosion cyst. Take once a day, for multiple times.

(3) Lithospermum officinale essential oil

[Prescription] Lithospermum officinale, appropriate amount of sesame oil.

[Preparation and Usage] Soak the lithospermum in sesame oil for 7 days. Or you can boil the sesame oil and soak the grass in the boiling oil until it turns rose color. Apply to the cervix once a day, insert a cotton ball with thread into the vagina, and remove it on the second day.

3. Western medicine treatment of cervical erosion cyst

(1) Drug treatment: This treatment has fewer side effects and is generally suitable for women who have not given birth. Currently, the most common drugs for the clinical treatment of cervical erosion cysts are Shadier Gel, Huijian Combination, and external medication Xiaomi Suppositories, which are effective but relatively expensive.

(2) Physical therapy: suitable for patients with moderate or severe cervical erosion cysts. Commonly used methods include laser therapy, electric ironing, and cryotherapy. The disadvantage is that the side effects are large and may cause the nerves in the inner wall of the vagina to become less sensitive, affecting the quality of sexual life. In addition, it is easy to relapse after being cured.

(3) Surgical treatment: If drug therapy and physical therapy are ineffective, or if there is cervical hypertrophy, or the erosion is deep and extensive, and involves the cervical canal, cervical conization or total hysterectomy can be used. However, surgical treatment is rarely used nowadays. However, the worst consequence of the surgery is that it can cause infertility in the patient, so careful consideration is required.

The above are the methods for treating cervical erosion cysts. We hope that our introduction can bring some help to everyone. Cervical erosion cysts are a type of cervicitis. Although such diseases are very harmful to women’s health, such diseases can be prevented. This requires female friends to pay attention to their personal private hygiene in daily life, eat a light diet, and go to the hospital regularly to understand their physical condition, so as to keep the disease out.
