Uterine curettage surgery process and precautions

Uterine curettage surgery process and precautions

People nowadays are very open-minded, not as conservative as people in the past. The love in our parents' generation was envied by many people. As long as they held hands, they would get married and stay together until old age. Pregnancy before marriage was rare. Nowadays, everyone's minds are very open. They think it doesn't matter who you give your first time to. Even if you get pregnant, you can just have an abortion. Artificial abortion is also called uterine curettage. Here I will introduce to you the process of uterine curettage and precautions.

Curettage is the process of scraping the uterus, which is the traditional artificial abortion. Curettage is different from abortion. It is used to remove the tissue remaining in the uterine cavity after incomplete abortion, help repair the uterus, and reduce the possibility of bleeding or infection.

The curettage operation is to use some long-handled curettes to insert into the uterus to scrape out these residues. A B-ultrasound is required before the curettage operation. Uterine curettage was quite painful before. However, with the development of science and technology, there is now a painless uterine curettage, which uses intravenous anesthesia in the operating room. Uterine curettage surgery needs to be performed in a regular and professional hospital. Because painless uterine curettage surgery requires a lot of experience, and using too much force may scrape the uterus, so please be sure to go to a regular hospital for the procedure.

【Notes】

1. Regardless of the amount of bleeding, sexual intercourse is prohibited before menstruation. Because the cervix is in a relaxed state during medical abortion, the effect of tissue bacteria entering the uterine cavity is weakened. At the same time, after the embryonic tissue is peeled off, the blood sinuses are open and easily infected by bacteria.

2. After medical abortion and uterine curettage, you should pay attention to rest, avoid fatigue, and strengthen nutrition. You should rest in bed for 2-3 days after the operation, then you can get out of bed and move around, gradually increasing the activity time. Do not engage in heavy physical labor or work in cold water in the second half month of the curing period to avoid catching cold. Keep the vulva clean and strictly prohibit sexual intercourse.

3. Do not take a bath or do vaginal douching within one month after medical abortion, and swimming is not allowed.

4. The sanitary napkins and toilet paper used after medical abortion and uterine cleaning should be qualified products; sanitary napkins should be changed frequently; underwear should be changed and washed every day.

5. After medical abortion and uterine curettage, bleeding usually only lasts for two or three days. If vaginal bleeding lasts for more than one week after the operation, you should go to the hospital for a follow-up examination and treatment in time.

6. Adhere to contraception. After the operation, the ovarian and uterine functions gradually recovered and the ovaries ovulated as scheduled.

The above is the content of the uterine curettage operation process and precautions. Don’t think that this is just a simple miscarriage. If it happens more often, it will affect your fertility in the future. No one doesn’t want children, so you must take good care of your body and protect yourself in daily life.
