What is the cause of white sediment in women's urine?

Nowadays, white precipitate in urine is the most common manifestation of abnormal urine. People urinate every day, and the color of urine will tell us whether there is any disease in the human body. It can be seen directly with the naked eye. Also, because of the special structure of the short and straight urethra of women, it seems that they are more likely to have urinary system problems than men. In most cases, the human body cannot feel the symptoms. So what is the white precipitate?

Normally, there is no sediment in women's urine, let alone granular sediment. Generally, white granular precipitates appear first, which is often due to high alkalinity of urine, which may be caused by urinary tract infection or excessive proteinuria.

Normal urine is colorless or light yellow and transparent. If the urine is white, such as rice water, lime water or milk, the cause should be investigated. There are three common clinical cases of leukoplakia:

1. Crystalluria: The urine is white, like lime water, and often appears at the end of urine. Those with white urine may experience slight discomfort in the urethra and occasionally renal colic.

Normal urine contains many organic or inorganic substances, which are generally in a dissolved state, so the urine is clear and transparent. If the content of these substances is high and saturated, they will precipitate and form crystalluria.

Crystalluria is not a disease. As long as you drink plenty of water and maintain adequate urine volume, it will not occur.

2. Pururia: The urine is white, like rice water.

There are often flocs suspended in the water, and after standing still, there are more white precipitates. This type of white urine is often accompanied by symptoms such as urgency, frequency, pain, difficulty urinating, back pain, and fever. Diseases that may cause pyuria include renal tuberculosis, pyonephrosis, or urinary tract infection caused by obstruction or foreign bodies. At this time, the patient should go to the hospital for further examination to determine the site and cause of infection and receive targeted treatment.

3. Chylous urine: The urine is white, like milk, sometimes mixed with white clots or blood. When you are tired or eat high-fat food, the urine will be obviously white. When you rest or eat low-fat food, the urine will become lighter or clear.

This symptom means that there is a lesion in the lymphatic vessels in the body. Lymphangiography can be used to determine the location of the lesion.

It is usually treated with Chinese medicine or surgery.

Regarding the problem of white sediment in women's urine, doctors often advise female friends to drink more water to dilute the urine, prevent the urine from being stored in the body for too long, and facilitate the timely excretion of bacteria and inflammatory secretions. Pregnant women in the early and late stages of pregnancy may experience abnormal urination and severe white sediment due to uterine pressure. In this case, you should go to the hospital for a regular check-up.
