Why can't I detect ovulation with an ovulation test strip?

Why can’t ovulation be detected using ovulation test strips? Many women who use ovulation test strips to test whether they are ovulating have this problem, especially for women who have been preparing for pregnancy for a long time but still have no results. When the ovulation test strips do not show ovulation, they will worry that they are unable to ovulate, which leads to this situation. So what is the reason why the ovulation test strips cannot detect ovulation?

Ovulation paper can only be used as a reference. It mainly senses LH changes to indicate whether ovulation has occurred. For women with regular menstruation, ovulation is about 14 days before the next menstruation. You can calculate it based on your own menstrual period. But if you have irregular menstruation, it is best for you to use color ultrasound to clarify the specific ovulation situation, and try to get pregnant under the guidance of a doctor as soon as possible to increase the chance of pregnancy.

Starting from the 5th day after menstruation, B-ultrasound examination should be performed every 2 days. Under normal circumstances, the follicles grow at a rate of 0.2CM per day. B-ultrasound examination until ovulation can clarify the growth and development of the follicles, as well as whether ovulation has occurred.

Everyone's ovulation period is different and varies from person to person. Some people's ovulation period is 4-6 days after the end of menstruation, so if you want a baby, it is best to go to the hospital for follicle observation. This is the most accurate. Follow the doctor's advice and you can normally get pregnant that month.

You don't need to worry too much about why you can't detect ovulation with ovulation test strips. If you are more worried about whether you will ovulate, it is recommended that you use the basal body temperature detection method to judge. If the basal body temperature has a relatively obvious bidirectional body temperature characteristic, you generally have the ability to ovulate. You only need to arrange sexual intercourse reasonably during the period when the body temperature rises, and you can still get pregnant.
