What are the methods to treat excessive leucorrhea?

Many women have gynecological diseases, and it is easy for them to have abnormal leucorrhea, which seriously affects the patient's physical health. Therefore, many women do not know how to treat abnormal leucorrhea and are very worried and afraid. So what are the methods to treat excessive leucorrhea? Let me introduce to you why this problem occurs.

Normal leucorrhea should be milky white or colorless and transparent, with a slightly fishy smell or no smell; its secretion amount and texture are affected by the levels of estrogen and progesterone in the body, and vary cyclically with the menstrual cycle, with varying amounts, textures and thicknesses. If there is a lot of leucorrhea and it feels like water, you need to consider ruling out the possibility of endometrial cancer or fallopian tube cancer. It is recommended that you go to a regular hospital for examination in time to check whether there are Trichomonas or fungi in the leucorrhea, carefully examine the cervix, uterus and pelvic cavity, and do a cervical smear, biopsy or diagnostic curettage when necessary. Targeted treatment is more effective after the cause is identified.

Colorless, transparent, mucous leucorrhea: The appearance is similar to normal leucorrhea during the ovulation period, but the amount is larger. It is common after the use of estrogen drugs. Purulent leucorrhea: yellow or yellow-green in color, pus-like, and has a foul odor. Caused by infection, it is common in vaginitis, colpitis, trichomoniasis, chronic cervicitis, endometritis, etc. Tofu-like leucorrhea: It is a characteristic of candidal vaginitis. Bloody leucorrhea: If the leucorrhea is stained with blood, you should be alert to malignant tumors such as cervical cancer and uterine cancer. Purulent and bloody leucorrhea: a characteristic of amebic vaginitis. Yellow watery leucorrhea: mostly caused by necrosis of diseased tissue, commonly seen in submucosal uterine fibroids, cervical cancer, fallopian tube cancer, etc.

The above is my opinion on this issue. Generally, if a patient has abnormal leucorrhea, I suggest that the patient should first undergo examination and diagnosis, and then receive treatment based on the patient's condition. This will ensure the patient's safety and health and avoid dangerous situations caused by this problem.
