How should breast tumors be treated?

Breasts are a symbol of female friends, so we need to take better care of them. Perfect breasts will bring irresistible charm to female friends. However, with the fast pace of life, many women will suffer from breast diseases. At the same time, the number of breast cancer patients is also increasing. At this time, everyone needs to understand the breast care methods.

Breast tumors are likely to be breast cancer, common symptoms

Breast lumps, lactation disorders, distant metastasis of breast cancer, chest pain, severe pain, edema, inverted nipples, nipple discharge, and nipple rupture

1. Hidden breast cancer

It refers to breast cancer in which no lump can be felt clinically but is confirmed by pathological examination after mastectomy. It is often discovered through X-ray examination or other methods, or with axillary lymph node metastasis as the first symptom, and should be differentiated from accessory breast cancer. In terms of treatment, it is generally believed that once occult breast cancer is diagnosed, if there is no supraclavicular or distant metastasis, radical surgery should be performed. Most reports show that its efficacy is better than or similar to that of breast cancer with axillary lymph node metastasis.

2. Male Breast Cancer

Male breast cancer is uncommon, with an incidence rate of 1% among breast cancers and 0.1% among male malignant tumors. The average age of onset is 6 to 11 years higher than that of female breast cancer.

Surgery is still one of the main treatments for breast cancer. There are many surgical procedures, and there is no consensus on their selection. The general development trend is to minimize surgical damage and, if equipment conditions permit, try to preserve the breast appearance for patients with early breast cancer. No matter which surgical procedure is chosen, the principle of radical cure as the main approach and retaining function and appearance as the secondary approach must be strictly adhered to.

Radiotherapy is a major component of breast cancer treatment and one of the local treatment methods. Compared with surgical treatment, it is less restricted by factors such as anatomy and patient constitution. However, the effect of radiotherapy is affected by the biological effects of radiation. It is difficult to achieve the goal of completely killing the tumor using currently commonly used radiotherapy facilities, and the effect is inferior to that of surgery.

Breast cancer is a relatively serious cancer. If it is discovered early, there is hope for treatment. If it is discovered too late, it will lead to the patient's death. Therefore, we should pay more attention to caring for the breasts. We should press the armpits frequently to see if there are any lumps or pain. If so, it is recommended to check early.
