Sexual development of girls

Sexual development of girls

The sexual development of girls is much more complicated than that of boys, especially the development of secondary sexual characteristics also has a certain order. For example, breasts develop first, followed by pubic hair, and the development of each part also has a certain time period. So if mothers want their children to have a healthy body, they must have a general understanding of the sexual development process of girls, so that they can popularize relevant knowledge to their children in a timely manner, so that their children will not be overly curious and inferior, thus avoiding the troubles of their children's growth.

The order of development of secondary sexual characteristics is usually breast development, pubic hair growth, and underarm hair growth. Normal breast development begins between the ages of 9 and 14. The entire process of breast development is often divided into five stages abroad: ① Stage I: Pre-pubertal stage, when the breasts have not yet developed. ② Stage II: In the early stages of breast development, the breast bud under the nipple begins to grow and appears as a distinct mound-shaped protrusion. ③ Stage III: The breasts become round and shaped like an adult's, but are still relatively small. Stage ④Ⅳ: The breasts enlarge rapidly, and the nipples and areola protrude forward, shaped like small balls. ⑤ Stage V: Normal adult-shaped breasts, with the small balls of the nipple and areola fused into the round shape of the breast. It takes an average of four years for breasts to develop and mature, but there are great individual differences. For girls who develop rapidly, the whole process can be completed within one and a half years; for those who develop slowly, it may last for up to nine years. The breasts may undergo periodic changes during the menstrual cycle due to the influence of ovarian secretions. For example, one week before menstruation, you may feel breast tenderness and nipple tingling. This is a normal physiological phenomenon and there is no need to be nervous. It disappears after menstruation.

Menarche usually occurs about 2 years after breast development begins, during stages I to IV of breast development. Menarche only indicates the possibility of fertility, but the reproductive organs are not yet fully developed. A girl's menstruation may be irregular, and her second menstruation may even occur after several months or half a year. This is a normal physiological phenomenon. Ovulation usually develops about 2 years after menarche.

Reproductive organs The internal and external reproductive organs change from juvenile to adult type. The mons pubis bulges due to the accumulation of fat, the labia majora become thicker, the labia minora become larger and pigmented, and are exposed outside the labia majora. The vagina becomes longer and wider, with many wrinkles, the vaginal mucosa thickens, the uterine body is significantly enlarged, the muscle layer thickens, and the fallopian tubes become thicker. Follicles begin to develop in the ovaries.

The above is an introduction to the sexual development process of girls. Girls will experience breast pain when their breasts are developing. If they are touched without carefulness, it will be extremely painful. This situation is normal and there is no need to worry too much. I hope that girls who are developing can understand this.
