Many times, we fail to pay attention to our bodies, which leads to problems with certain body functions, and adenomyosis is a common disease. There are many treatments for adenomyosis. We can choose a treatment method that suits us according to our actual situation. Treatment should be based on the patient's symptoms and age. Conservative treatment may be used if symptoms are relieved by symptomatic treatment with indomethacin, naproxen, or ibuprofen or if the patient is near menopause. If the patient has severe dysmenorrhea for a long time, a total hysterectomy should be performed. Whether the ovaries are retained depends on the patient's age and whether there are any ovarian lesions. Highly effective progestins and pseudopregnancy therapy are ineffective for this disease. Some people believe that both danazol and GnRHa can induce artificial menopause and relieve symptoms, but whether they can inhibit the continued growth of ectopic endometrium remains to be clinically confirmed. 1. Don’t be greedy for cold food: Women with poor gastrointestinal function should avoid eating raw, cold foods during menstruation, such as cold drinks, raw cold dishes, crabs, snails, clam meat, leeches, pears, persimmons, watermelons, bananas, bitter melon, mangosteen, mung beans, cucumbers, water chestnuts, grapefruits, oranges, etc., so as to avoid cold stagnation and blood stasis which may aggravate dysmenorrhea. 2. Eat less acidic food: Acidic food has astringent effect, which makes the blood stagnant and is not conducive to the smooth flow and discharge of menstrual blood. Therefore, people with dysmenorrhea should try to avoid eating such food during menstruation. Acidic foods include rice vinegar, spicy and sour vegetables, pickles, pomegranates, green plums, bayberries, strawberries, star fruits, cherries, sour dates, mangoes, apricots, plums, lemons, etc. 3. Avoid spicy food: Some patients with dysmenorrhea already have heavy menstrual flow. Eating spicy, warm and irritating foods will aggravate pelvic congestion and inflammation, or cause excessive contraction of the uterine muscles, which will aggravate dysmenorrhea. Therefore, patients with dysmenorrhea should try to eat less or no foods such as chili pepper, pepper, garlic, onion, ginger, leek, chicken soup, durian and spicy condiments. Regarding the treatment of adenomyosis, it is often chosen based on one's symptoms and age. In addition, women also need to pay attention to their diet during menstruation. |
