Breast lipoma is a common disease in our lives. It is mainly caused by the fact that patients do not pay attention to their living habits, lack of exercise and poor diet, which leads to tumors under the breast. For diseases such as breast lipoma, we can usually treat it by surgical resection and dietary health care. Breast lipoma is a benign tumor arising from the breast adipose tissue. It can occur at any age, but is most common between 30 and 50 years old. But it is common in middle-aged and elderly women, usually single, occasionally multiple, and mostly located under the breast skin. Different from common breast hyperplasia, the tumor is soft in texture and round or oval in shape. The surface components are leaf-shaped, with a complete fibrous capsule on the outer layer, good mobility, and no adhesion to the surrounding tissues. Treatment Method: Breast lipoma, like lipomas in other parts of the body, is a benign tumor that rarely becomes malignant and grows slowly, posing little harm to the body. If the tumor is not large, no treatment is required. For intervellus lipoma, it can be removed at any time if it is encountered during surgical exploration. For lipomas located behind the breast, if the diagnosis is clear, the tumor is not large, and it does not affect the breast function, surgery is not necessary. For those with larger tumors that significantly compress surrounding tissues and even affect breast function or develop secondary cancer. Surgical resection is the principle. Other non-glandular benign breast tumors include breast hemangioma, breast cyst, breast sebaceous cyst, breast hamartoma, etc. Large tumors or those with the possibility of malignancy should be treated surgically, and the principles of plastic surgery should be followed during the operation. Diet and health care 1. Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages, and eat less spicy foods, such as chili peppers, dog meat, etc. Spicy foods can trigger the growth of lipomas, so eat less of these foods. 2. Eat regularly. It is more reasonable to eat 30% of your daily food intake for breakfast, 40% of your daily food intake for lunch, and 30% of your daily food intake for dinner. 3. Eat less high-cholesterol foods, such as egg yolks, fatty meat, seafood, scaleless fish, animal offal, etc. 4. Eat more fiber-containing foods, a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and low-fat, low-cholesterol foods. Such as cereals, lean meat, apples, mushrooms, fungus, celery, kelp, (scaled) fish, etc. It is easier to choose vegetable oil and less animal oil. 5. You can drink green tea at ordinary times, or you can add some raw hawthorn, ginkgo, etc. when making tea to clear the cholesterol in the body. The article introduces the treatment methods of breast lipoma in detail. We hope that patients can understand it. If you feel that your body is able to do so, we recommend that you undergo surgical removal. However, for the elderly, it is best not to use surgery. You can use drug treatment instead. |
