1. Rub the Mingmen acupoint

The Mingmen point is located in the depression below the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra in the waist, opposite to the anterior navel (Shenque point). Make a fist with your right or left hand, and place the protrusion of the metacarpophalangeal joint of the index finger (the tip of the fist) on the Mingmen acupoint. Press and rub it in a clockwise direction for 9 times, then press and rub it in a counterclockwise direction for 9 times. Repeat this operation 36 times. Focus your mind on the Mingmen acupoint. Massaging this point every day has the effects of warming the kidney yang and benefiting the waist and spine.

2. Rub the Shenshu point

The Shenshu point is located 1.5 inches below the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra in the waist, and is level with the Mingmen point. Make fists with both hands and place the protrusions of the metacarpophalangeal joints of the index fingers on the kidney points on both sides. Press and rub in a clockwise direction for 9 times, then press and rub in a counterclockwise direction for 9 times, and repeat this 36 times. Focus your mind on the Shenshu point. Massaging this point every day has the effects of nourishing yin, strengthening yang, tonifying the kidneys and strengthening the waist.

3. Rub the Yaoyangguan acupoint

The Yaoyangguan point is located in the depression below the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra in the waist. Make a fist with your left or right hand, and place the protrusion of the metacarpophalangeal joint of the index finger on the Yaoyangguan acupoint. Press and rub it in a clockwise direction for 9 times, then press and rub it in a counterclockwise direction for 9 times, and repeat 36 times. Focus your mind on the Yaoyangguan point. The Du channel is a Yang meridian, and this point is the gateway through which Yang Qi passes. Massaging this point every day has the effects of unblocking Yang Qi, strengthening the waist and knees, and benefiting the lower abdomen.

4. Rub the waist point

The Yaoyan point is located 3.8 inches lateral to the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra in the waist, and is level with the Yaoyangguan point. Make fists with both hands, and place the protruding part of the metacarpophalangeal joints of the index fingers on the Yaoyan acupoints on both sides. Press and rub in clockwise direction for 9 times, then press and rub in counterclockwise direction for 9 times, and repeat this for 36 times. Focus your mind on the Yaoyan point. Massaging this point every day has the effects of promoting blood circulation, unblocking meridians, strengthening the waist and benefiting the kidneys.
