Women are very troubled by some gynecological diseases that are prone to recurrence, and gynecological diseases that can turn into cancer make women even more terrified. According to clinical data, among the many gynecological diseases, six diseases are more likely to become cancerous. 1. Cervical erosion This is a common disease among married women, mostly caused by damage to the cervix during childbirth, abortion or surgical operation, as well as unhygienic conditions and bacterial infection during the postpartum and menstrual periods. According to statistics, the risk of cervical cancer in patients with cervical erosion is 7 to 12 times higher than that in patients without the disease. Therefore, if the disease is discovered, it must be treated seriously until it is completely cured. 2. Uterine fibroids This is a common benign tumor in middle-aged women. It originates from the smooth muscle tissue on the uterine wall. The cause of the disease is not yet very clear, but it is related to endocrine disorders. If uterine fibroids grow rapidly, they may compress the rectum and bladder and cause difficulty in defecation and urination. In some patients, the tumor may become malignant. Therefore, anyone diagnosed with uterine fibroids should be closely observed and followed up to prevent malignant changes. 3. Endometrial hyperplasia Although this disease is a benign lesion, if the adenoma type has severe hyperplasia, it may develop into endometrial cancer. Therefore, such patients should be closely followed up and treated in a timely manner. 4. Breast hyperplasia Although breast cystic disease, papilloma and fibroadenoma are all benign lesions, some of them can turn into malignant ones, especially those with a family history of breast cancer. Therefore, these patients should be closely observed and checked regularly. If the tumor is found to be growing rapidly, becoming hard, or the nipple is leaking bloody secretions, the patient should go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible. 5. Hydatidiform mole It is a disease with a very high rate of malignancy. It is reported that approximately 7%-16% of patients with hydatidiform mole may develop into choriocarcinoma or malignant hydatidiform mole. Therefore, once the disease is diagnosed, the patient should be closely monitored for changes in the condition and surgical treatment should be performed promptly if any suspicious symptoms are detected. 6. Vulvar pigmented nevus Vulvar nevi are black spots that occur on the skin of the vulva. Some are smooth, some are rough, and some may have hair growth. Vulvar pigmented nevi are more likely to become malignant than other moles on the body. This is because the vulva is often subjected to friction and irritation, and because pigmented nevi are more sensitive to the stimulation of sex hormones, they tend to increase in size and darken during puberty and pregnancy. It is reported that 40%-80% of malignant melanomas occur in pigmented nevi. Currently, it is advocated to perform preventive excision of vulvar pigmented nevi as early as possible to prevent malignant transformation. |
