Early symptoms of mastitis

Early symptoms of mastitis

With the increase in life pressure, some common environmental pollution, and some female gynecological diseases, many female patients have suffered from the common phenomenon of mastitis. Mastitis is also a common gynecological disease. In the early stage, it is mainly manifested as breast pain. However, as women do not pay attention to it, it will lead to some other types of gynecological diseases and even endanger their lives. Therefore, if this type of disease is found in daily life, it must be treated in time.

Mastitis is a common disease, which is mainly an inflammation of some tissues in the mammary ducts. It is more common in some breastfeeding women, especially postpartum women, and is more common in primiparas. It can occur at any time during breastfeeding, and is more common during breastfeeding in daily life.

1. In the early stage of acute simple mastitis, the breasts are swollen and painful, with high skin temperature and tenderness. Due to the stagnation of milk and poor venous and lymphatic return, hard nodules with unclear boundaries appear locally in the breasts. If this stage is handled correctly, the inflammation can dissipate.

2. In acute suppurative mastitis, the local skin is red, swollen, hot, and painful, with obvious nodules and increased tenderness. The patient has symptoms of systemic poisoning such as chills, high fever, headache, weakness, and rapid pulse. Ipsilateral axillary lymph nodes are swollen and painful.

3. During the abscess formation stage, acute mastitis becomes localized, forming an acute breast abscess. At this time, the mass fluctuates, and the fluctuation of superficial abscesses is relatively obvious. The abscess can burst outward or inward into the milk duct, draining pus from the nipple. When the abscess breaks into the loose tissue in front of the pectoralis major muscle behind the breast, a retromammary abscess is formed. Breastfeeding should be prohibited at this time

The above are the early symptoms of mastitis, mainly some acute simple mastitis and some suppurative mastitis. Drug treatment is more critical. Early cyst formation will lead to some surgical treatments. There are some dietary therapy methods in daily life that can be used for treatment. The key is the preventive care of the breasts during pregnancy, some correction of nipple retraction, correct breastfeeding, and ensuring smooth discharge of milk.
