The dangers of ovarian cysts

The dangers of ovarian cysts

Nowadays, women will suffer from various gynecological diseases, which have a lot to do with our daily living habits. In particular, some women often do not take care of their bodies and get pregnant without taking any measures during sexual intercourse, but they do not want children yet and will have abortions continuously. Abortion can cause ovarian cysts, and we must pay attention to the harm of ovarian cysts.

Ovarian cysts are already a very common gynecological disease. They can be pathological or physiological. If ovarian cysts are found during examination, they must be treated promptly. Some women do not pay attention to the harm of ovarian cysts and do not seek timely treatment, which can cause some unnecessary trouble.

Ovarian cysts are a type of ovarian tumor in a broad sense. They can occur in people of all ages, but are most common in women aged 20-50. Ovarian tumors are common tumors of the female reproductive system and have various properties and morphologies, namely: single or mixed type, unilateral or bilateral, cystic or solid, benign or malignant. Among them, cystic tumors are more common and have a high degree of malignant transformation. Early diagnosis is difficult, and 70% of patients are already in the advanced stage when seeking medical treatment. Early treatment is rarely available, and the 5-year survival rate has always hovered around 20-30%. It is one of the most serious malignant tumors that threaten women's lives. So, what are the hazards of ovarian cysts? The hazards of ovarian cysts are mainly manifested in the following points:

1. Cysts may even develop complications, become infected, become twisted, bleed, or burst. These symptoms may cause nausea, vomiting, fever and severe abdominal pain, and immediate surgery is required to remove the cyst. These cysts can occasionally become cancerous. Endometritis cysts are different from the above categories of ovarian cysts and usually have symptoms.

2. Cause edema: Affecting life. In addition to loss of appetite, weight loss and abdominal swelling, patients with ovarian cysts may also experience vomiting, fever and severe abdominal pain; in the later stages, it may even cause edema in the abdomen and limbs.

3. Canceration: Life-threatening. Enlarged ovarian cysts are prone to infection, twisting, bleeding or rupture, posing a threat to the patient's life. Some tumorous cysts may even become cancerous.

5. Ovarian cysts become larger: This may cause dull pain or swelling in the patient's lower abdomen or back. The cyst may also put pressure on the bladder, causing frequent or difficult urination.

6. Cause infertility: Affect fertility. Once the ovarian cyst becomes larger or degenerates, it is possible that the sperm, egg or fertilized egg cannot function normally, thus affecting fertility and leading to infertility.

Everyone should have a better understanding of the dangers of ovarian cysts. This is already a common gynecological disease. Especially among pregnant women, the incidence of this disease is very high. If the disease is not treated in time, it will cause other more serious complications. Female friends should pay attention to some gynecological diseases they suffer from.
