How to avoid pregnancy

For many newlyweds, in order to enjoy their own world of two for a longer time, they will not plan to have a baby so early, especially for younger couples. There will be plenty of opportunities to have a baby in the future, and they want to avoid pregnancy. Therefore, many people are looking for ways to avoid getting pregnant so as to avoid disrupting their original life plans and schedules after getting pregnant.

When it comes to how to avoid pregnancy, there are actually many ways. For couples who have already given birth, the simplest method is to place an IUD, which can effectively prevent pregnancy. However, if you have not given birth yet, you can use the following methods to avoid pregnancy:

1. Male condoms

Having men use condoms is the best form of birth control. Male condoms are currently the most commonly used contraceptive tool, with a contraceptive effectiveness of over 95%. They are currently used by 40 million couples around the world. Choosing a condom mainly refers to the choice of model. Condoms are divided into four sizes: large, medium, small and extra small. Users should choose the appropriate size according to their personal situation. If the condom is too large, it will easily fall off in the vagina during sexual intercourse, resulting in contraceptive failure; if the condom is too small, it will cause discomfort and it will easily burst. How to avoid pregnancy. Generally speaking, when using a condom for the first time, use a medium size first. If it does not fit, switch to a large, small, or extra small size.

2. Female condoms

When it comes to the use of condoms, many people think it is a man's privilege. Today's female condoms are made of polyurethane and appear to be twice as large as male condoms. There are two flexible rubber rings at both ends of the rubber sleeve, the outer end is larger and in an open ring shape, and the inner end is smaller and completely closed. The large ring is placed on the female labia to prevent the condom from slipping into the vagina during intercourse, while the small ring is used to press against the cervix to fix the position of the condom.

3. Safe period method

The so-called safe period contraception refers to calculating a period of infertility based on the female ovulation period and the survival time of sperm and eggs in the female reproductive tract. Sexual intercourse is then chosen to take place during this period to achieve the purpose of contraception. How to avoid getting pregnant? Generally speaking, the egg can survive for 1-2 days after being released, and the sperm can survive in the female reproductive tract for 2-3 days. Therefore, if you have sexual intercourse 2-3 days before ovulation and 1-2 days after ovulation, you may get pregnant. This period is called the fertile period. Ovarian ovulation usually occurs within 2 days before or after the 14th day of menstruation, so the safe period is approximately within 10 days after menstruation, and from the 20th day after menstruation to the next menstruation. How to avoid pregnancy? The closer you are to your menstrual period, the greater the possibility of contraception.

The above are all methods on how to avoid pregnancy. In fact, in addition to the above contraceptive methods, there are also oral contraceptives for contraception. However, if oral contraceptives fail, it will affect the development of the fetus, so many female friends are unwilling to use this contraceptive method. In comparison, condoms are the best method.
