Leucorrhea yellowish green

Leucorrhea yellowish green

If a woman has yellow-green vaginal discharge, it is mostly due to infection with Trichomonas vaginitis, a common gynecological disease. Men may also be infected, but there are no symptoms and no itching. When a woman is infected with Trichomonas vaginitis, she will experience genital itching. Some of the vaginal discharge is yellow-green and has an odor, which seriously affects the patient's normal work and life. Moreover, this trichomoniasis is easily contagious. It is usually transmitted through sexual intercourse and should be treated equally for both men and women.

Many women are afraid of gynecological diseases. Once these diseases occur, they will be very troubled. In fact, if you discover your abnormalities in time and receive regular treatment, you can achieve the goal of recovery. When the leucorrhea is yellow-green, you can go to the doctor for a routine leucorrhea examination. The following is an introduction to the treatment of Trichomonas vaginitis.

1. Systemic treatment

(1) Metronidazole (Flagyl) 3 times a day for adults and reduced dose for children. The treatment course for intestinal trichomoniasis is 3 to 5 days. Trichomonas urethritis, vaginitis, and stomatitis should be treated with the medicine for 7 to 10 days. It is forbidden to use for pregnant and lactating women.

(2) Tinidazole

For genitourinary tract and oral infections, double the first dose, once a day, for 5 to 6 days.

(3) Take trichostatin three times a day for 5 to 7 days.

2. Local treatment

(1) For Trichomonas vaginitis, first scrub the vaginal wall with a soapy cotton ball, then rinse the vagina with 0.02% potassium permanganate solution or warm water, then wash with 1% lactic acid or 0.5% acetic acid and wipe dry.

Choose one of divijing, carbazon or metronidazole and insert it into the posterior fornix of the vagina or spray it into the vagina once every night or every other night. One course of treatment is 7 to 10 days, and it can be used in succession for 2 to 3 courses.

(2) Oral hygiene: Rinse your mouth with salt water, keep your oral cavity clean and hygienic, and do not eat sweet foods before going to bed.

When the leucorrhea is yellow-green, it is mostly caused by Trichomonas vaginitis. At this time, the above treatment methods can be adopted for complete treatment. This disease is quite stubborn and it is very easy to be infected again if the treatment is not thorough. Therefore, even if it is cured in time, you still need to be vigilant and pay attention to personal hygiene, sexual hygiene and menstrual hygiene. Moreover, Trichomonas already exists in the intestines and urethra, so treatment should be combined with internal and external treatment. This is the only way to achieve the goal of thorough treatment.
