Women often stay up late and suffer from dysmenorrhea

It is reported that women who often disrupt their biological clocks and stay up late are twice as likely to suffer from irregular menstruation as those with regular work and rest schedules, and they are also more likely to suffer from dysmenorrhea and mood swings. Experts from Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston said that women who frequently work night shifts are 1.5 times more likely to develop cancer than women who work day shifts; and the more night shifts they work, the greater the risk.

If women stay up late or suffer from insomnia for a long time, it will change the body's original biological clock, thereby causing disruption to the body's life rhythm. This disorder will lead to a series of endocrine dysfunctions, which in turn will affect women's ovulation cycle. Once the ovulation cycle is disrupted, irregular menstruation may occur, which will lead to an imbalance in progesterone secretion. Some common tumors in women, such as uterine fibroids, endometrial lesions, and breast lesions, are closely related to abnormal secretion of estrogen and progesterone. Therefore, female friends should try not to stay up late if possible. If you really have to stay up, try to make up for the sleep during the day and adjust your own body clock according to your needs. If the body adapts to the "reversed day and night" life, the quality of daytime sleep can be guaranteed, the endocrine system will return to normal, and the adverse effects on the body will be reduced accordingly. Moreover, female friends should test their hormone levels every 3 to 6 months in order to detect problems and deal with them early.
