Under normal circumstances, the leucorrhea during ovulation is colorless and transparent, with a large amount and a silky appearance. However, the dark brown leucorrhea during ovulation may be caused by ovulation bleeding. In the middle and late menstrual period, that is, during ovulation, due to a temporary drop in estrogen levels, the uterine wall loses the support of hormones and part of the uterine wall falls off, resulting in periodic vaginal bleeding, which is called ovulation bleeding. Traditional Chinese medicine calls it "mid-menstrual bleeding." Let’s discuss what causes brown discharge during ovulation. The reason why the vaginal discharge is dark brown during ovulation is that after the ovulation of the mature follicle, the estrogen level drops sharply and significantly, which cannot maintain the growth of the uterine wall, causing the surface of the uterine wall to rupture and fall off, thus causing initial bleeding. With the formation of the corpus luteum, a certain amount of estrogen and estrogen are secreted, which makes the ruptured uterine wall surface repair quickly and the bleeding stops. Or it may be that during ovulation, the mature egg secretes more estrogen, causing uterine wall hematoma and blood cell exposure. Dark brown leucorrhea during ovulation may also be caused by the blood-containing egg fluid being sent to the uterine body through the bilateral fallopian tubes against intestinal peristalsis and then discharged from the cervix through the vagina when eggs are captured at the ends of the fallopian tubes. Some people reported that when checking the cervical mucus of women with ovulation in the middle and late menstrual period, they found that about 60% had blood cells under a high-power microscope, but no bleeding that could be seen by the naked eye. I think this is a pathological condition; but women with ovulation bleeding must rule out other diseases of the reproductive system, such as irregular menstruation, cervical erosion, cervical polyps, cervical cancer, uterine intrauterine polyps, uterine cervical myomas, uterine wall adenocarcinoma, etc. |
