Picture of bloody forty days of pregnancy

Spotting during pregnancy is a type of gynecological disease in women. It has a high incidence rate and is very easy to recur. Especially if there is spotting during pregnancy, it is worrying. Many pregnant women experience bleeding in the early stages of pregnancy. Bleeding in early pregnancy is also called early pregnancy spotting. Due to different physical conditions, the degree of bleeding in pregnancy is different for everyone. Is it normal to see bleeding in the fortieth day of pregnancy?

It should be noted that spotting in early pregnancy often leads to miscarriage, but not everyone will have a miscarriage.

Will you definitely get redness during early pregnancy?

1. Miscarriage: If bleeding exceeds the menstrual period and is accompanied by severe abdominal pain, miscarriage is inevitable and requires further treatment.

2. Ectopic pregnancy: When an ectopic pregnancy occurs, vaginal bleeding usually occurs about 40 days after the menstruation stops, often accompanied by dull pain, distension, and heaviness in the lower abdomen. At this time, a urine pregnancy test may be positive, but color ultrasound examination of the uterine cavity will not reveal the gestational sac, and abnormal lumps may usually be found in the location of the fallopian tubes on both sides.

3. Hydatidiform mole: Hydatidiform mole is a type of deformed fetus. Vaginal bleeding in hydatidiform mole occurs later than in miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy, usually around March.

4. Cervical erosion: Cervical erosion may cause more or less bleeding throughout the pregnancy, but it is continuous. This type of bleeding is different from the bleeding caused by uterine contractions during miscarriage, which separates the embryo from the uterus. It will not directly affect the growth of the fetus. As long as the blood circulation is activated in time, the pregnancy can still proceed normally. If the blood circulation is not activated in time, it will affect the normal pregnancy and eventually cause miscarriage.

Early pregnancy spotting refers to the appearance of a small amount of pink discharge in the vagina within 12 weeks of pregnancy, similar to bleeding before or after the menstrual period. The bleeding may be pink, bright red, or dark brown in color. About 1/4 of pregnant women will experience varying degrees of spotting in the early stages of pregnancy, and about half of them will end up with miscarriage.
