What to wear after giving birth

1. The material of clothes should be cotton knitted, which is both cold-proof, warm and breathable. After giving birth, the most common physical condition is sweating a lot, especially when sleeping at night and waking up. Therefore, new mothers' clothes must be made of pure cotton and have good breathability, and the same goes for cotton socks.

2. You should wear long-sleeved tops, sports pants, and thin cotton socks at home, especially after showering. If the weather is fine, you can go outside in the sun to receive sunlight as soon as possible. You can choose a short-sleeved top, but you must do a good job of sun protection.

3. Wear cotton socks to sleep if necessary. The summer is relatively hot, and some new mothers will kick the mattress once they go to bed at night, which makes them catch cold easily. The best way is to wear pajamas and cotton socks to sleep.

4. Clothes must be washed and changed frequently. Especially in summer, some new mothers' clothes and pants will be soaked in less than half a day. Don't be bothered by it. 1. If the mother has no wounds or sores on her vulva, it will take 2-3 days in summer and 5-7 days in winter.

2. Pay attention to taking a bath after giving birth: "It's too cold in winter, too hot in summer, and too dry in spring." In summer, the shower room is kept at room temperature. In cold weather, the shower room should be warm and sheltered, and the shower temperature should be maintained at around 35°C-37°C. Do not use cold shower water in summer to avoid blocking the discharge of postpartum lochia, causing abdominal pain, irregular menstruation, body pain, etc.

3. It is best to take a shower instead of a bath to prevent turbid water from entering the vagina and causing infection. If the mother is weak and cannot stand up to take a bath, a sponge bath can be used.

4. Each bathing time should not be too long, generally 5-10 minutes.

5. The temperature of the bath in winter should not be too high, as it will easily fill the bathroom with a lot of water vapor, resulting in lack of oxygen and making the mother in poor condition unstable.

6. After cleaning, wipe off the moisture of the body as soon as possible, put on warm clothes, and then get out of the shower room to prevent the body from catching cold or being blown by the wind.
