The embryo is an important tissue used by the fetus to communicate with the pregnant mother. The quality of the embryo directly determines how much nutrients and oxygen the fetus can get from the pregnant mother, so the embryo is very important. Placental maturity is a term that indicates the condition of the embryo, which can generally be divided into four levels. Is a grade 1 placenta normal at 38 weeks? Is it normal to have a grade 1 placenta at 38 weeks of pregnancy? A placental maturity of level one should be very good, indicating that the nutrients in the embryo are sufficient for the fetus. Because the due date is only an estimated date, it does not mean that the baby should be born on that day. If your normal menstrual period is relatively regular, the due date should be similar. If the birth is usually delayed by a few days, the baby may be born a few days late. Therefore, the time of insertion is not determined by the pregnancy cycle, so there is no need to worry. What is placental maturity? The embryo will gradually mature as the pregnancy progresses. When it matures to a certain level, its function will decrease, just like aging, and it will not be able to provide nutrients and oxygen to the fetus normally. The placental maturity level classification is a standard used to measure the maturity of the placenta. It is generally divided into 4 levels, as follows: There are four levels of placental maturity: 0, 1, 2, and 3. Grade 0 indicates that the embryo is not yet complete: usually in the middle and late stages of pregnancy, around 12-28 weeks of pregnancy. Level 1 indicates the early stage of placental maturity: 30-32 weeks of pregnancy, the early stage of placental maturity, can also deliver nutrients to the fetus. Level 2 indicates that the embryo is already complete: generally after 36 weeks of pregnancy, the embryo is close to the uterus. Level 3 indicates that the embryo has declined. Due to the thickening and cellulose accumulation, the embryo's ability to transport oxygen and nutrients is reduced, and the fetus is at risk at any time. The maturity of each person's placenta is different: in the middle and late stages of pregnancy (12-28 weeks) - placenta level 0; in the late stages of pregnancy (30-32 weeks) - embryonic level 1; after 36 weeks - embryonic level 2 (more complete). If the embryo is found to be at grade 3 before 37 weeks and combined with the value of the fetal biparietal diameter and the estimated baby weight of 2500 grams, the embryo should be considered mature and the possibility of fetal intrauterine growth and development delay should be alerted. At 38 weeks, the embryo reaches stage 3, indicating that the placenta is mature. |
