What does vaginal discharge look like when you are pregnant?

Pregnancy is a topic that most young couples cannot avoid discussing, and some mothers are unfamiliar with the symptoms that may occur during pregnancy because it is their first pregnancy. Of course, from occasional chats with other experienced pregnant mothers, they will also learn about some symptoms during pregnancy, such as leucorrhea during pregnancy and so on. So what are the discharges during pregnancy?

1. What does leucorrhea during pregnancy look like?

If you are pregnant, then generally after pregnancy, the body's estrogen increases with the progress of pregnancy. Estrogen has the function of promoting the secretion of cervical gland ducts and uterine wall gland ducts, increasing the amount of vaginal mucus. Therefore, the secretion during pregnancy will be more abnormal, with more volume before the increase, white in color, no odor, like egg white, which is normal.

2. Some reflections of pregnancy

1. Frequent urination and urgency. Pregnant women are very likely to have frequent urination during pregnancy, especially in the early and middle stages of pregnancy.

2. Back pain. In the middle and late stages of pregnancy, as the abdomen gradually grows and the weight increases, pregnant women will begin to have difficulty walking, and may even suffer from back pain, calf cramps, and lower limb edema.

3. Changes in appetite. Doctors recommend that you eat whatever you want in the early stages of pregnancy. There is no need to intentionally eat more or less, because many pregnant women have a significantly weakened appetite after morning sickness and are unwilling to eat anything, which will directly affect their nutrient intake.

4. Abdominal discomfort. Some pregnant mothers always feel anxious and worried because of lower abdominal pain, bloating, abdominal tightness and other discomforts. In fact, the discomfort in the middle abdomen during pregnancy is a very normal physiological phenomenon, and pregnant women do not need to worry too much.

5. The increase in female secretions is mainly related to the metabolic changes of growth hormone during pregnancy. It is normal for transudate (secretions) to be discharged and pregnant women do not need to worry too much. However, if the secretion is yellowish, has a foul odor, itches, or is lumpy, pregnant women are advised to go to the hospital for treatment. Do not apply medication on your own or ignore it to avoid harming your own and your fetus's health.

6. Mood swings. Pregnant women are very susceptible to the influence of the things around them and cause mood swings. In addition to the effects of hormones, it is also related to the anxiety of creating a new life in the belly.

There are various reactions to pregnancy, so you don't need to rely too much on other people's experience, because others may experience reactions that you may not. Of course, if you have reactions that others don't, you don't need to be too anxious. If the reaction is mild, let it disappear on its own. If the reaction is serious, then go to the hospital to consult a doctor to see if there is any problem. Generally, the problem will not be serious.
