Is HPV82 positive serious?

Is a positive HPV82 test serious? HPV82 is a type of high-risk HPV virus. A positive HPV82 test means infection with the HPV82 virus. It is mainly used in clinical medicine to screen for cervical diseases in women. For women who are positive for HPV82, the HPV virus may cause cervical cells to gradually become diseased, precancerous, and even have the risk of lesions, which is mainly related to the patient's poor resistance. Therefore, if a high-risk HPV infection is discovered, the patient needs to have a follow-up visit regularly every six months to a year, and a colposcopy should be performed when necessary to further confirm the condition of the cervix and eliminate the disease. For those infected, interferon suppositories and vaginal suppositories can be used for treatment. At the same time, they need to temporarily avoid sexual intercourse, enhance their own immunity, and go to the hospital for regular check-ups every year.

In clinical medicine, HPV82 positivity is not very serious, but active medication treatment is also very important. HPV is a high-risk viral infection that can cause cervical cancer.

For women who are positive for HPV82, the HPV virus may cause the risk of gradual mutation and precancerous lesions of cervical cells, which is mainly related to their own poor resistance. Therefore, if a high-risk HPV infection is discovered, regular follow-up visits are required every six months to a year, and a colposcopy is required to further confirm the condition of the cervix and eliminate mutations.

In addition, avoid unclean sexual life during this period, and cooperate with antiviral drugs for treatment, such as intramuscular injection of interferon suppository or 5-fluorouracil to improve the condition.

HPV82 positive is considered a high-risk human papillomavirus infection.

HPV stands for human papillomavirus infection, a widespread source of infection in humans. HPV infection often has no unique symptoms. Occasionally there is increased vaginal discharge, with or without an odor, and contact bleeding may occur during sexual intercourse or after a gynecological examination. Examination of the cervix may show smooth or only partial erythema, milky white epithelial cells, or erosive changes in the cervix. There are more than 160 types of HPV, of which 13-15 are closely related to cervical cancer, especially types 16 and 18.

HPV infection is mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse, mother-to-child transmission, blood spread, etc. It can also be transmitted intermittently, such as indirect infection through clothing. It is a contagious disease.

The HPV infection rate in women is about 16%, and 60-70% of women have been infected with HPV in their lifetime. Most HPV infections are transient and do not require any treatment. The body's own immune system can gradually eliminate the virus infection. Only less than 10% of high-risk HPV may manifest as persistent infection, and gradually develop into precancerous lesions or even cervical cancer, which usually takes 5 to 15 years.

If you are infected with HPV virus, you can also use intravaginal interferon effervescent suppositories or Baofukang suppositories for treatment, which will have certain practical effects. Vaccination HPV vaccine can achieve primary prevention of cervical cancer.
