We all know that during pregnancy, three special treatments need to be done. The first screening is the NT done at 11 to 12 weeks of pregnancy, the second screening is the Down syndrome screening done at 16 to 18 weeks of pregnancy, and the third screening is the four-dimensional color ultrasound done at 22 to 24 weeks of pregnancy. The contents of the three special rectifications are all different, which means that the three special rectifications must be done. Our country also calls on all pregnant mothers to go to the hospital for pregnancy check-ups on time. Down syndrome screening is divided into early Down syndrome screening and mid-term Down syndrome screening. The best time to do early Down syndrome screening is between 11 and 12 weeks of pregnancy, which is the same as the time for nt screening. So do we need to do early Down syndrome screening after doing NT? In terms of the screening content, the screening content of NT is different from that of early Down syndrome screening. Doing NT does not mean doing early Down syndrome screening. In other words, it does not matter whether we do early Down syndrome screening or not after doing NT. And we all know that early diagnosis of Down syndrome requires a NT examination procedure. In other words, NT is necessary for early diagnosis of Down syndrome. The accuracy of NT is 90%, the accuracy of early NT is also 90%, and the accuracy of mid-NT is only 70%. Generally speaking, pregnant mothers choose to have early ET, unless they miss the time for early ET, they will choose mid-ET. If you do the NT but not the early Down syndrome test, it would be a very stupid behavior. The early Down syndrome test is to get the NT data and conduct a blood test. Since the NT has been done, the blood test is enough, and the early Down syndrome test is to check whether the fetus has Down syndrome. In other words, nt and early down can be done on the same day, so that the fetus can be checked at the same time whether it suffers from developmental abnormalities. Of course, we must pay attention to the order of NT and blood tests. Be sure to do the NT first and then do the blood test, because early Tang needs to refer to the NT data, so you need to do the NT first. If the order is reversed, you need to do it again. It is worth mentioning that no matter whether it is NT or early ED, a reservation is required. In other words, if the order of NT and blood test is reversed, it means that the early ED test collection is unsuccessful and you can only make another reservation for mid-term ED. So, do we need to do early Down syndrome screening after doing NT? The answer is, of course we need to do it. Doing NT is equivalent to doing half of the early Down syndrome screening, so we need to do it again without any doubt. Moreover, the accuracy of early Down syndrome screening is so high that there is no need to do non-invasive DNA or amniocentesis to review the results of Down syndrome screening later. We all know that if the pregnancy result is high risk, a non-invasive DNA or amniocentesis test is needed for re-examination. However, early diagnosis is more accurate and does not require re-examination. |
