Menstrual cycle calculator

Everyone knows that menstruation is regular, but not every woman knows how to calculate her menstrual cycle. So, how do you calculate your menstrual cycle? The following is an introduction by the editor.

The measurement of the menstrual cycle starts from the first day of the current menstruation and ends on the first day of the next menstrual period, which is called the menstrual cycle. The calculation of the menstrual cycle should include the time of menarche. For example, the first day of your most recent menstruation was September 31st, and the first day of your previous menstruation was September 1st. The number obtained by subtracting the two dates is 30, which means that the menstrual cycle is 30 days.

Under normal circumstances, women's menstrual cycle is 28 to 32 days. Due to individual differences, the length of the menstrual cycle can vary from person to person. A week earlier or later can be considered normal. As long as a certain periodicity can be maintained, it cannot be considered as irregular menstruation.

Also, when many women visit the gynecology department, they are usually asked by the doctor about the due date of pregnancy. The due date of pregnancy refers to the time of the menstrual period closest to the date of consultation, which needs to be calculated from the first day of bleeding.

In addition, when a young girl has her first menstruation, because her uterus and ovaries are still in the developmental stage and their functions are not yet fully developed, she may experience neurological disorders and irregularities, causing abnormalities in her menstrual cycle. This is all normal, don't worry, as you age, your ovaries will gradually develop and mature, and your menstrual cycle will become regular.

How to calculate the menstrual cycle? Just like the rising and setting of the sun, menstruation comes and goes with a certain cycle and regularity. Generally speaking, the menstrual cycle is calculated based on the time interval between the first days of two menstrual periods, with an interval of 21-35 days and an average of 28 days. The days when you have your period are called your menstrual period, which usually lasts 2-8 days, with an average of 4-6 days. However, there is a small group of women who may have their period once in February or even March. If there is a certain periodicity, congratulations, your period is healthy. For women whose menstrual cycles are too long, if they are really worried, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for a check-up.
