What should women do if they have pain in the right lower back?

massage

(1) Press the lumbar sacral area with your palms: Lie prone and press your palms together on the painful lumbar vertebrae until no pain is caused. One inhalation and one exhalation counts as one time. Do this 10 to 15 times.

(2) Massage the waist and back: After work, in the morning or before going to bed at night, you can use your palms to rub the waist and back muscles, rubbing up and down 50-100 times, and twisting your waist at the same time. This can relax the muscles and promote blood circulation, improve local blood circulation, and relieve low back pain.

(3) Massage the muscle knots: Use the tip of your thumb to carefully touch the waist and sacrum. If you find any tender lumps, press them with your fingertips. Massage each knot for 1 minute.

(4) Pushing the lower limbs: With the help of others, lie prone, fix the hips, and use the base of the palm to push from the sacrum, through the buttocks, along the outer side of the thigh and calf, to the other side of the limb.

4. Aerobics:

(1) Leg exercises: Lie on your back, hold one leg at the knee with both hands, bend your hip as much as possible, and make the front of your thigh close to your abdomen. Do this 5 to 10 times in a row, then do the other leg; then hold both knees with both hands at the same time, and do this 5 to 10 times at the same time. Do it once every night, or once more in the morning.

(2) Sit-up exercise: Lie on your back and sit with your abdomen contracted. Be careful not to use your upper limbs to help, keep your lower limbs straight, and the number of times is not fixed. This exercise can also help reduce abdominal fat.

Common causes of low back pain

1. Caused by physiological characteristics

Many women do not pay attention to their diet during menstruation and often drink cold drinks in large gulps. This can cause stagnation of qi and blood, blockage of meridians, and lead to low back pain or dysmenorrhea.

There are also some women who do not pay attention to rest during menstruation, and long-term labor can also cause dysmenorrhea and back pain during menstruation.

Some women also experience back pain after pregnancy, and the back pain becomes more obvious as the pregnancy progresses.

This is because the uterus is slowly growing, which in turn increases the support of the waist. The round ligament of the uterus relaxes due to long-term traction, causing the sacrospinous ligament to relax and compress the pelvic nerves and blood vessels, thus causing low back pain.

2. Urinary tract infection

The female urethra is different from the male urethra. The female urethra is short and straight, and the external opening of the urethra is close to the anus. Coupled with the special physiology of women, they are prone to urinary tract infections and other diseases.

This type of urinary tract infection often causes swelling and pain in the lower back. In severe cases, the pain will radiate along the ureter to the perineum.

Therefore, in daily life, women should pay special attention to maintaining the hygiene of the vulva to reduce the chance of disease.

3. Lumbar muscle strain

When experiencing low back pain, most people's first reaction to the cause of the pain is lumbar muscle strain.

If we maintain a posture for a long time, such as standing for a long time, this will lead to the weakening of the stretching ability of the lumbar tendons and ligaments, excessive accumulation of local lactic acid, which will inhibit the normal metabolism of the lumbar muscles, causing lumbar muscle strain and thus lower back pain.

There are also some people who suffer from rheumatism, arthritis, and lumbar disc herniation. These diseases will compress the spinal cord and nerve roots and can also cause low back pain. Therefore, this group of people must pay attention to the combination of work and rest in daily life.
