Early pregnancy symptoms, will the lower abdomen hurt?

1. Abdominal pain as an early pregnancy reaction: In the early stages of pregnancy, there may be some abdominal pain and discomfort which is not very intense but does not last long. In many cases, it is also accompanied by vomiting, which is the main manifestation of early pregnancy reaction. Pain that occurs in the upper abdomen is mostly caused by the increased physiological gastric juice secretion in the early stages of pregnancy; occasional cramps in the lower abdomen are related to the expansion of the uterus and the stretching of the cruciate ligament that supports the uterus. As the early stages of pregnancy pass, this pain and discomfort will naturally subside.

2. Uterine fibroids: Uterine fibroids may grow during pregnancy. The impacts on pregnancy include uterine fibroid transformation and necrosis, uterine fibroid distortion, and direct impact on the development of the baby or obstruction of delivery. This type of pain usually comes suddenly and the pain is fixed and belongs to local pain.

3. Ectopic pregnancy: The fertilized egg implants and grows outside the uterus, such as the bilateral fallopian tubes, uterus, ovaries, abdomen, etc. Symptoms of ectopic pregnancy in early pregnancy: amenorrhea, abdominal pain, and vaginal bleeding. If at 6 weeks of pregnancy the gestational sac in the uterus cannot be seen by abdominal or vaginal ultrasound, and human chorionic gonadotropin is blue in the blood, or even capillary rupture, then an ectopic pregnancy can be diagnosed.

4. Uterine and ovarian tumors: During pregnancy, complications caused by uterine and ovarian tumors include tumor distortion and tumor rupture. Most uterine and ovarian tumors in early pregnancy are benign, but malignant tumors also exist. Therefore, if uterine and ovarian tumors are found during pregnancy, if there are severe pain, abdominal discomfort, abnormal abdominal enlargement, ascites, etc., you must seek medical attention as soon as possible.
