Four-dimensional color ultrasound boy gave birth to a girl

Four-dimensional color ultrasound boy gave birth to a girl

Determining the gender of the fetus by ultrasound is related to the doctor's diagnosis level and the size of the fetus's external genitalia. Generally, the gender of the fetus can be seen at 16 weeks of pregnancy, and it is clearest after 20 weeks. In some cases, the gender does not match that after delivery. One reason is that the doctor's level is limited, and the other is that the doctor is unwilling to disclose the gender. The state has requirements that illegal fetal gender identification and assessment is not allowed. It doesn't matter whether you have a boy or a girl, as long as the child is healthy. It is recommended to have two four-dimensional color ultrasound examinations during the entire pregnancy. Bookings need to be made in advance. Some hospitals have a large number of outpatients and the examination can only be done three weeks after the appointment.

1. Fetal system screening

Placenta grading: Thickening is divided into 3 grades on the examination report. Grade 1 is the early stage of placental maturation, with uniform echoes, and this change can be seen at 30-32 weeks of pregnancy; Grade 2 indicates that the embryo is close to maturity; Grade 3 indicates that the embryo is already mature. The closer to full term, the more perfect the embryo is, which means the more perfect the fetus's lungs are. Only when the lungs are perfect can the fetus survive after birth.

2. Fetal growth and development index values

Amniotic fluid depth: 3-7cm is normal. More than 7cm indicates excessive amniotic fluid, and less than 3cm indicates insufficient amniotic fluid. Too much or too little amniotic fluid is abnormal.

Amniotic fluid index: Taking the pregnant woman's navel as the center, it is divided into 4 areas: upper, lower, left and right. The amniotic fluid depths in the 4 areas are summed to get the amniotic fluid index. The standard value of the amniotic fluid index in late pregnancy is 8-18 (24) cm.

Biparietal diameter (BPD): The length of the longest point in the middle of the upper and lower sides of the head, also known as the "greater transverse diameter of the head". When the delivery date cannot be determined based on the brachiocephalic diameter in the early stage, the biparietal diameter is usually used for prediction; in the middle and late stages, when determining the baby's weight, it is usually necessary to accurately measure this data.

After the fifth month of pregnancy, the biparietal diameter is basically consistent with the month of pregnancy. In other words, the biparietal diameter is about 7.0cm at 28 weeks of pregnancy (July); and about 8.0cm at 32 weeks of pregnancy (August). By analogy, after the eighth month of pregnancy, an average growth of about 0.2 cm per week is normal, and it should reach 9.3 cm or more at full term.

Baby's head circumference: The accurate measurement is the length of the baby's head circumference to determine the growth and development of the baby.

Fetal abdominal circumference: also known as abdominal diameter, it accurately measures the length of the fetal abdomen. Used together with the anteroposterior abdominal diameter (APTD) and the thickness diameter of the abdomen (TTD) to infer the growth and development of the fetus.

Femur length: The length of the fetus's thigh bone is 2-3cm different from the standard value and the biparietal diameter value of the corresponding month of pregnancy.

Humerus length: The short axis of the upper wrist bone, used to infer the number of weeks of pregnancy in the second and third trimesters.
