How to delay menstruation easily

1. Use emergency contraception to advance or delay your period. In addition to regulating menstruation, it also serves as a contraceptive measure. Emergency contraception itself is a compound androgen, but it must be prepared one month in advance, that is, it should be taken on the fifth day of menstruation and continued until three days before the menstruation is expected to come. For example, you plan to travel abroad on July 26 and the trip will last for 10 days. If the menstruation comes on July 2, you should start taking the medicine from July 6 and continue to take it until July 3. When the vacation is over, the menstruation will probably end on August 7. Although this method has a high success rate, the disadvantage is that you have to take the medicine every day for more than 20 days. Once you forget to take it, the effect will continue to fail.

2. If you are unable to prepare one month in advance, you can also use progesterone to advance your period. That is, take luteinizing hormone continuously for 5-7 days, and your menstruation will come on the 5th day after stopping the medicine. Or you can take a menstrual induction injection, which has the same effect, that is, to make your menstruation come early. The advantage of this method is that the medication time is shorter, but if your menstrual period is usually about seven days, it is best to report to the gynecologist three weeks in advance before making any preparations. You will have fewer worries after the period comes.

3. If it is an activity that is decided on temporarily, or when you are doing the activity, it is basically less than a week away from your menstrual period, then the above two methods may not be suitable for you. The doctor will prescribe you some high-dose estrogen plus luteinizing hormone, starting from the day when your menstruation is expected, and continue to take it for 10 days until your menstruation comes after you stop taking the medicine. This is the method currently used by most people.

How to relieve period headaches

1. Release stress

We have always said that girls tend to be more irritable during the days when their periods come. In order to relieve headaches and menstrual discomfort symptoms, you must start with the little things in your daily life, relax, and avoid being too irritable and depressed.

2. Eat sweets in moderation

Sugar can effectively increase the blood sugar volume in the body, which is helpful to relieve high cardiovascular anxiety, nerve damage and other symptoms. Therefore, eating some glycogen-containing foods appropriately during menstruation can effectively relieve migraines.

3. Take a walk

Moderate exercise can effectively relieve menstrual headaches, but because it is not suitable for excessive exercise during the menstrual period, it is recommended to take moderate walks and strolls, which can improve menstrual syndrome to a certain extent and overcome the negative mood of tension and depression.

4. Head massage

You can use a wooden comb appropriately to tidy up your hair. By combing your hair, you can massage your scalp to relieve symptoms such as menstrual headaches. You can also use your fingers to massage your scalp to relieve excessive tension in the cardiovascular system.

5. Apply heat with a cotton towel

It is not recommended to use drugs to suppress menstrual headaches. For those with severe headaches, it is recommended to use a hot towel to apply heat to the head for 30 minutes to relieve the headache. It can be combined with appropriate head massage for better results.
