Is there a false pregnancy?

To put it simply, a false pregnancy is not a real pregnancy. Women with false pregnancy may experience symptoms similar to those of pregnancy, such as amenorrhea, nausea and retching, and a bulging abdomen, and may even feel spontaneous fetal movement, but in fact, it is not a true pregnancy. If a woman undergoes a B-ultrasound examination, a woman with false pregnancy will not be able to see any intrauterine or extrauterine pregnancy under ultrasound. The causes of false pregnancy include psychological disorders and disease factors. Causes of false pregnancy include:

1. Pseudopregnancy caused by psychological disorders: Mental stress is the key cause of pseudopregnancy. The main reason is that some women are very eager to get pregnant but keep delaying and never get pregnant. This kind of psychology causes too much psychological pressure, which in turn causes them to unconsciously produce some pregnancy-like symptoms. The nausea, vomiting and other symptoms caused at this time are physiological changes caused by psychological reasons. Under normal circumstances, the level of chorionic gonadotropin in women with false pregnancy does not increase. If you can properly transfer your attention and learn to let go of your mental burden, the symptoms of false pregnancy will disappear immediately.

2. False pregnancy caused by disease factors: Some women may have false pregnancy due to disease factors. Common diseases include systemic lupus erythematosus. Women suffering from this disease will have increased concentrations of chorionic gonadotropin in the blood, which will lead to nausea, vomiting and other symptoms similar to those in the early stages of pregnancy. However, ultrasound examination revealed no signs of pregnancy, but chorionic gonadotropin was present in the blood. If it is a pseudopregnancy caused by lupus erythematosus, it is generally recommended to refer the patient to the internal medicine department for detailed examination.

Therefore, it is recommended that female friends can avoid the occurrence of false pregnancy through regular pregnancy checkups. If women with infertility symptoms want to have a baby, they can go to a professional hospital for targeted treatment. In addition, whether you are pregnant should be based on the results of reliable tests conducted in a professional hospital. Don't make random guesses or blindly follow underground "evidence".
