Only cervical mucus plug without redness

The absence of blood in the cervical mucus plug may be due to the gradual maturation of the cervix. It is also related to childbirth, both of which may cause a significant increase in cervical mucus.

1. The cervix gradually matures: In the late pregnancy, the cervix of women will gradually mature. At this stage, cervical mucus plugs will appear and be discharged from the internal os of the cervix. This is a normal phenomenon and will not affect the health of pregnant women. It will not cause any impact on the growth of abdominal pain bands. Therefore, there is no need to worry or be afraid. However, you should closely observe your own condition. If the amount of mucus plugs discharged is relatively large and it causes pain in the lower abdomen, you need to go to a medical institution for an abdominal color B-ultrasound examination in time to observe the growth of the fetus in the abdomen and to rule out any signs of delivery.

2. Delivery: Most of the cervical mucus plugs are discharged 3 to 5 days after delivery, which will cause a small amount of mucus secretions in the vagina. As long as there is no bleeding from the cervical mucus plug, it is a normal phenomenon. This is the most common sign before delivery. During this period, you should pay attention to rest more, take appropriate deep breaths or do stair climbing exercises, which will help the fetus to be delivered as soon as possible. At the same time, you need to closely observe the fetal movement.

If signs of labor appear, you should inform your doctor immediately and prepare a delivery bag.
