This is called a retroverted uterus. It is more common in clinical medicine. The retroverted uterus forms an obtuse angle with the cervix at the junction, which is called a retroflexed uterus. A retroflexed position is not as easy to get pregnant as an anteverted uterus.

The uterus is an organ like the palm of your hand. If it leans forward and toward the abdomen, it is in the anterior position. If the uterus is tilted backwards, that is, towards the back, it is called retroverted uterus.
