Two months pregnant lower abdomen pain

Two months pregnant lower abdomen pain

Pregnant women often experience lower abdominal pain in the early stages of pregnancy. If the pain is mild and goes away after rest, it is generally not a big problem. However, if the abdominal pain is intermittent, or there is continuous pain in the lower abdomen, such as the pain before or during menstruation, and is accompanied by vaginal bleeding, you should go to the hospital for medical treatment in time.

Abdominal pain that is fine after relief is generally physiological abdominal pain. This is because the uterus gradually enlarges during fetal development, coupled with the effects of body hormones and the expansion of uterine ligaments, pregnant women will naturally experience abdominal pain. When you have abdominal pain, you should pay attention to rest, stop excessive exercise, and don't drink strong tea, coffee and other beverages.

If it is physiological abdominal pain, it may be because the pregnant mother has eaten moldy or cold food, causing intestinal cramps and abdominal pain. Acute gastritis, gastroenteritis, acute pancreatitis, and metastasis of uterine fibroids may also cause lower abdominal pain. At this time, you should pay attention to going to the hospital for medical treatment and taking medication to avoid miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.

Every woman will have different early pregnancy reactions, or pregnancy symptoms, after becoming pregnant. However, every pregnant woman's early pregnancy reaction is not exactly the same, but each has its own merits.

Many pregnant women who are pregnant for the first time start to worry when they notice a slight pain in their lower abdomen shortly after the pregnancy, fearing that miscarriage is coming. In fact, abdominal pain in early pregnancy is one of the common pregnancy symptoms. Because, after pregnancy, the uterus enlarges and the uterine ligaments are involved, which can cause mild lower abdominal pain.

The location of this type of pain is not fixed. Sometimes it is in the left lower abdomen, sometimes in the right lower abdomen, and the pain lasts for a very short time. Generally speaking, lower abdominal pain in early pregnancy is mostly a physiological condition and will not affect your daily life or the development of the baby.

If there is no vaginal bleeding or rupture of amniotic fluid, and the baby's fetal movement is normal, pregnant mothers do not need to be overly anxious, as this is just normal uterine contraction. When abdominal pain comes, if the pregnant mother is working, she should learn to put down the work at hand and sit down to rest for a while.

Of course, sometimes there are also instances of physiological pain. For example: patients with ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids may also experience lower abdominal pain in the early stages of pregnancy.

If you have intermittent lower abdominal pain or standard abdominal pain, back pain, accompanied by spotting of vaginal bleeding or a noticeable feeling of abdominal heaviness, it may mean threatened abortion and you need to see a doctor immediately.

Therefore, in the early stages of pregnancy, pregnant mothers should move less, stay in bed more, avoid sexual intercourse, avoid lifting heavy objects, drink water, and seek medical attention in time. If the pain gets worse or the bleeding continues, see a doctor right away.
