Using a different cleaning solution

Try a mixture of bleach and warm water

Using Vinegar

Never mix ammonia and bleach. Mixing ammonia and bleach will produce chlorine gas, a toxic chemical that can cause harm if inhaled.

Try using baking soda

Mix water and vinegar

Mix two tablespoons of baking soda with 8 quarts of water. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and spray it on moldy areas, such as bathroom tiles. Take another spray bottle and fill it with the previous vinegar solution, and spray it on the same area (the combination of the two solutions will produce a chemical reaction, releasing carbon dioxide). Sprinkle baking soda directly on the moldy area. This method is effective on porous surfaces (such as wood furniture or drywall). Allow the baking soda to penetrate the damp surface before wiping it clean.

Using hydrogen peroxide

Purchase a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution and put it in a spray bottle without diluting it. Spray the moldy area with hydrogen peroxide and wait at least 10 minutes before scrubbing. Wipe away any excess moisture to prevent mold from growing again.
