Normal cervix picture

The uterus is the most important organ in our female body and it shoulders heavy responsibilities. It accompanies us from girls to women, and from women to mothers, and we cannot live without it throughout our lives. But do we know our uterus? What is it like? What does a normal cervix photo look like? Let's have a simple understanding of this issue. I hope the following points will be helpful to everyone!

When preparing for pregnancy, a woman's uterus is located in the center of the pelvis, between the bladder and duodenum, in an extended and flexed position. At this time, the uterus is about 7-8 cm long, 5-6 cm wide, 2-3 cm thick, with a uterine volume of about 5 ml and a weight of about 40-50 grams, like a pear; but after pregnancy, as the pregnancy progresses, the size and position of the woman's uterus change greatly. When the pregnant woman is about to give birth, the uterine volume increases to about 5000 ml and the weight increases to 1000 grams, from a pear to a watermelon, and the uterus expands more than 1000 times. Do you know the shocking data?

The uterus is the symbol of women and the cradle of life! After the sperm and egg combine and the embryo implants in the uterus, it will absorb nutrients and blood from the woman's body, grow and develop slowly, and after a long period of 9 and a half months, it will become a living life and be born! What changes will happen to the woman's uterus during this stage? This picture tells you how big the changes are. I feel heartbroken for the woman after seeing it!

The early pregnancy is the test tube embryo period. At this time, the test tube embryo is still very small, and the pregnant woman's uterus has basically not changed.

At 4 weeks of pregnancy, the size of the uterus does not change, but the endometrium begins to become softer and thicker; at 8 weeks of pregnancy, the size change is not big, but in order to protect the uterus and the test tube embryo, the endometrium will continue to loosen and the cervix will continue to thicken; at 12 weeks of pregnancy, the test tube embryo becomes a fetus and increases in size. The uterus also undergoes a big change, from the size of a pear to a red-heart grapefruit. The pressure of the uterus on the bladder increases, and pregnant women will experience frequent urination and urgency. However, as the pregnancy progresses, the position of the uterus gradually shifts, and this situation will gradually ease. Pregnant women, don't worry!

In the second trimester of pregnancy, the growth rate of the fetus accelerates, and the uterus will not only expand, but also move upwards.

At 16 weeks of pregnancy, the position of the uterus shifts, blocking the pelvis, and the pressure on the bladder subsides. The feeling of frequent urination and urgency will also subside. However, due to the enlargement of the uterus, the tendons around the uterus change from the original relaxation to excessive tension. Many pregnant women will have a slight pain in the lower abdomen and a feeling of abdominal distension. However, the pain is usually on one or both sides of the uterus in the lower abdomen, which is not very obvious and will not have a certain impact on the fetus!

At the 20th week of pregnancy, as the baby grows, the uterus continues to expand, the pregnant woman's abdomen becomes more and more obvious, and the position also shifts to 1 horizontal finger below the navel. In other words, the uterus can be touched at the position of 1 horizontal finger below the navel. At 24 weeks of pregnancy, the uterus moves to the area 2 horizontal fingers above the navel. At this time, the pregnant woman's abdomen has become very large, and she is pregnant. However, the enlarged uterus presses the internal organs upward, which will make the pregnant woman feel shortness of breath and stomach discomfort. In order to alleviate this discomfort, pregnant women should eat a lighter diet and eat small and frequent meals!

At 28 weeks of pregnancy, the abdomen continues to expand and the position of the uterus continues to shift! As the abdomen grows larger, in order to maintain stability, the pregnant woman's body will lean back slightly; at the same time, the expanded uterus will compress and increase the pelvis and lower limbs, and the pregnant woman will continue to experience edema and constipation.

In the late pregnancy, the baby's weight increases rapidly. The baby's growth rate continues to increase, and the uterus also expands rapidly. The pregnant woman's abdomen suddenly becomes much larger, just like an inflated balloon! However, as the pregnancy progresses, the position of the uterus continues to shift, and the pressure on the gastrointestinal diaphragm and other internal organs increases. Various discomforts follow one after another, such as nausea, loss of appetite, difficulty breathing, indigestion, etc., which make pregnant women suffer!

At 32 weeks of pregnancy, false labor increases, and most pregnant women feel that their abdomen is tight and hard, especially when they stand for a long time or are too tired; until 36 weeks of pregnancy, the uterus has almost covered the entire abdomen, and the pressure on the internal organs has increased, and the discomfort of pregnant women has also increased. However, at this time, most fetuses have begun to enter the pelvis, and the position of the uterus will move downward, and the pressure on the stomach and diaphragm will be slightly reduced. Although it cannot be restored to the state before pregnancy, stomach discomfort, loss of appetite, and dyspnea have been significantly alleviated. However, the sinking of the uterus has increased the pressure on the bladder and toes, and the pregnant woman's frequent urination and urgency have increased, toe pain, abdominal pain, and discomfort reactions are more serious than before!
