Will you definitely have fetal dreams when you are pregnant?

Perhaps people who have been pregnant or have taken care of pregnant women know that pregnant women will have dreams about pregnancy. In most cases, pregnant women have dreams about pregnancy in the early, middle and late stages of pregnancy, but they will no longer have dreams about pregnancy after giving birth. There are still many people who have great doubts about whether pregnant women will definitely have fetal dreams. So let's take a closer look at whether pregnant women will definitely have fetal dreams.

Will I have a dream when I am pregnant?

Fetal dreams usually occur in the early, middle or late stages of pregnancy. But sometimes, it happens before pregnancy. But I almost never have this kind of dream after giving birth.

It is often said that what you think about during the day, you dream about at night. It is normal for pregnant mothers to have beautiful visions of their future babies during pregnancy. Fetal dreams can also be said to be a reaction of the pregnant mother's subconscious mind. The dreams that a pregnant mother has about the fetus can be seen as an extension of certain psychological activities during sleep, indicating a certain wish she wants to achieve. For example, the pregnant mother wants a boy or a girl, or hopes that the baby is healthy, etc.

But pregnant mothers should not rely too much on or be superstitious about fetal dreams. This can easily cause the content of fetal dreams to bring psychological burden to the pregnant mother, resulting in negative effects such as frequent dreams, nightmares, and poor spirits during the day, and it also has a negative impact on the development of the fetus. Also, if fetal dreams become a long-term anxiety for the pregnant mother, the baby will grow up to have low emotional intelligence, be easily irritable, and be withdrawn.

How to interpret pregnancy dreams

There is no definite way to interpret prenatal dreams, and there is no scientific basis to prove it. But many people know whether the baby is a boy or a girl through dreams about the fetus. Generally, peppers, radishes, cucumbers, pumpkins, potatoes, snakes, turtles, chestnuts, etc. indicate boys; red peppers, precious metals, sweet potatoes, oranges that turn golden yellow, fruits, flowers, etc. indicate girls. But in essence these things describe the character, personality and abilities of the unborn child.

Most people divide prenatal dreams into four categories: dreams about animals, dreams about plants, vegetables and fruits, dreams about nature, and dreams about valuable items such as gold, silver and jewelry. Each kind of dream object can predict whether a boy or a girl will be born. For example, dreaming about a dragon fetus is auspicious, and it is a symbol of power and money. Seeing dragon horns in a dream means giving birth to a son, while seeing a dragon's tail or hugging the dragon's body means giving birth to a girl.

Such interpretations of dream situations or objects are what people generally call "dream interpretation". The symbolic meaning, or possible interpretation, of all symbols must first be determined in the context of the dream imagery itself and the dreamer's response to the imagery, and then examined to see how these interpretations relate to the dreamer's waking life. "It turns out that it is not just a matter of what you dream about. You also need to refer to the life of the pregnant woman who is dreaming. Therefore, dream interpretation needs to go deep into the dream and outside the dream, otherwise it will definitely be inaccurate.
