Dirt in the vagina

Dirt in the vagina

Leucorrhea and menstruation are both normal physiological phenomena, and are also secretions produced by the reproductive organs inside the vagina. However, some women with unhealthy private parts will also discharge dirty things from their vagina, especially during the period of leucorrhea. Some women find that the leucorrhea contains black or brown blood. This has also caused great concern among female friends, so what is going on when black or brown dirt is found discharged from the vagina?

Leucorrhea is a sticky white liquid that flows out of the vagina of women. It is a mixture of secretions from the Bartholin's glands, cervical glands, endometrium, exudate from the vaginal mucosa, and desquamated vaginal epithelial cells. Normal women will have leucorrhea after puberty. Normal leucorrhea is transparent or white, a little sticky, without odor, and the amount is relatively small. However, some women's leucorrhea is black and has a tofu-dreg shape, which means that there is something abnormal about the leucorrhea.

If our leucorrhea appears black, it may be an infection. If women do not pay attention to hygiene during menstruation and use contaminated sanitary products, this may cause infection with pathogens, causing the leucorrhea to appear dark brown. Common infections include trichomoniasis, bacterial infection, mold infection, fungal infection, etc. Many infections can cause inflammation in women, such as vaginitis and vulvitis. When treating inflammation caused by various bacterial factors, couples should pay attention to joint treatment to prevent cross infection.

Cervicitis is also one of the reasons why leucorrhea appears black. The trauma of childbirth or changes in sex hormones can easily induce cervical inflammation, which may lead to cervical erosion and make leucorrhea appear black. The most common cause is cervical erosion.

That’s all we have to say about the black dirt in the leucorrhea. We should note that not only is black leucorrhea a manifestation of gynecological inflammation, but body coldness can also cause women’s leucorrhea to turn black. Therefore, we should pay more attention to keeping warm, and if we find any abnormality in our body, we should adjust our body in time. You should change your underwear frequently every day and wear cotton underwear to avoid abnormal problems with leucorrhea.
