The function of the female vagina is the reproductive organ, the necessary passage for menstruation, and the safe exit for entering new life. It is also the symbol of women. The structure of the vagina is not complicated, but most people cannot figure out what is connected. Do you know what the hymen of a woman's vagina looks like when it is broken? The hymen has several different shapes, and after giving birth, it has more different areas. Let's understand it together. Female vagina structure diagram The male reproductive organ refers to the exposed part of the male reproductive organ, also known as the private part. Including the mons pubis, labia majora, vulva, clitoris, vestibular function, Bartholin's glands, vestibular bulbs, urethral orifice, vaginal opening and ruptured hymen. 1. Mons pubis. It is the private part that protrudes in front of the ischial tuberosity and is composed of skin and a very thick layer of fat. Pubic hair begins to grow on the skin during puberty, generally in the form of a triangle with the tip pointing downward. 2. Labia majora. It is a pair of long, ring-shaped raised skin folds on both sides of the private area, close to the inner side of the buttocks. It is connected to the mons pubis in front and the vulva in the back; it flexes and stretches downward and backward from the mons pubis, and the left and right labia majora in front unite to become the front cooperation, and the two ends in the back converge to become the back cooperation. The back cooperation is located in front of the anus, but it is not as obvious as the front cooperation. Male pubic hair grows outside the labia majora. The subcutaneous tissue is composed of adipose tissue, fibroblasts and venous plexus, which can easily form cysts after injury. The labia majora of single girls are naturally closed on both sides, covering the vaginal opening and urethral opening. The labia majora of first-time mothers separate to the sides due to the impact of childbirth. 3. Vulva. It is a pair of mucosal wrinkles on the inner side of the labia majora, with a moist and cold surface. The upper parts of the left and right sides of the vulva cooperate with each other. The skin fold above is called the clitoral hood, and the skin fold below is called the clitoral glans frenulum, with the clitoris located in the middle of them. The lower part of the vulva converges below the vaginal opening and is called the frenulum. There are various nerves distributed under the vulva mucosa, so the sense of touch is very sensitive. 4. The Yin Emperor. Located at the top in the middle of the vulva on both sides is a small, long, ring-shaped internal organ with a round opening at the tail and the inner end connected to a thin bundle of erectile tissue. Erectile tissue is a spongy tissue with a variety of venous plexuses and nerve endings, so it feels alert and is prone to bleeding after injury. 5. Vestibular function. The prismatic area enclosed by the vulva on both sides is called the vestibule. The surface is covered with mucous membrane and is approximately a triangle. The top of the triangle is the clitoris, the bottom is the frenulum of the labia, and the sides are the vulva. The urethral opening is above the vestibular function. The female vagina opens up below it. The vestibular bulbs and greater Bartholin's glands are also found in this area. The vaginal opening is covered by a partially sealed mucous membrane, which is called the hymen. When the hymen is broken, there is a hole in the middle, through which menstrual fluid is discharged. The size of the hymen hole and the thickness of the membrane are different for each person. After the hymen is broken, the mucous membrane appears as many ring-shaped balls, which become the hymen scar. A broken hymen doesn't mean anything. 6. Vestibular bulbs. It is a pair of spongy tissues, also known as the corpus cavernosum, which has erectile properties. Located on both sides of the vulva. It is connected to the clitoral vein in front and the Bartholin's gland in the back, and its surface is covered by the bulbospongiosus muscle. Bleeding is very easy after injury. 7. The Bartholin's gland is also known as the Bartholin's gland. It is located just below the female vagina, behind the labia majora, and is also covered by the bulbospongiosus muscle. There is a gland on each side, as big as a small bean. Its glandular duct is very narrow, about 1.5 to 2 cm, and opens on the inner side below the vulva. The epidermis of the glandular duct is mostly squamous epithelium, and only the innermost end of the duct is composed of a layer of columnar cells. When sexually excited, it secretes yellow-white mucus, which softens the vulva. This gland cannot be touched during a normal examination. 8. Urethra opening. Close to the edge of the ischial tuberosity and in the middle of the vulva, there is an irregular oval small round hole through which urine is discharged. There is a pair of glands on the posterior wall, called paraurethral glands, which open on the posterior wall of the urethral opening and are often the place where pathogens ambush. |
