At the same time, pregnant women are also a high-risk group for hair loss. During pregnancy, the appearance of pregnant women changes dramatically, and the secretion of internal hormones is also completely different. The changes in the secretion of female hormones during pregnancy will cause the body's hair metabolism to accelerate, causing them to lose hair.

1. Changes in estrogen in the body: During the entire pregnancy period, the estrogen level of the pregnant mother will increase significantly, and estrogen is closely related to hair loss in pregnant women. In the first three months of pregnancy, the estrogen level in the pregnant mother's body increases, the hair renewal rate will slow down, and generally will not cause hair loss. For some pregnant women, when estrogen levels are relatively low in the second trimester, the rate of hair renewal will accelerate, causing hair loss.

Therefore, hair loss during pregnancy is generally normal, and pregnant mothers do not need to be too anxious. Excessive anxiety will aggravate hair loss. Therefore, from the beginning of pregnancy, expectant mothers should be mentally prepared in advance, understand the relevant pregnancy knowledge, relax their minds, and not be too nervous.

2. The mental state of the pregnant mother. The mental and psychological factors of the pregnant mother are also an important cause of hair loss. If the pregnant mother has poor sleep quality during pregnancy and is under too much stress, it can easily lead to autonomic nervous system dysfunction and poor blood supply to the scalp, causing severe hair loss. If pregnant mothers really have difficulty falling asleep, they might as well listen to some light music and drink a cup of warm milk before going to bed.

3. Nutritional imbalance in the body. Some pregnant mothers mistakenly believe that nourishing the body means eating more high-protein, high-fat foods. The diet is monotonous throughout the pregnancy, which can easily lead to nutritional imbalance, resulting in insufficient supply of protein, vitamins or minerals in the body, affecting hair growth and metabolism. The diet during pregnancy requires balanced nutrition. Vegetables and fruits are indispensable. Eating fiber and whole grains regularly is also beneficial to the nutrition and absorption of the fetus.

4. Incorrect way of washing hair. Many pregnant mothers like to scratch their scalp with their nails when washing their hair, thinking that washing their hair will make it cleaner. In fact, there are many bacteria in the nails, and once the delicate scalp is scratched, it is easy to induce infection. The correct way to wash your hair is to gently push the scalp with your fingertips when applying shampoo, which can both remove dirt and promote blood circulation. In addition, pregnant mothers should note that before washing their hair, they should comb their hair with a wet comb to allow the dirt and dust attached to the scalp to float to the surface, so that the scalp and hair can be cleaned at the same time. To avoid damaging your scalp, it is recommended to use a comb with wide teeth and a round head. Due to the special physical condition during pregnancy, pregnant mothers should try not to use a hair dryer to blow their hair. They can choose a suitable dry hat towel.
