Can female anal eczema heal itself?

Can female anal eczema heal itself?

The symptom of female anal eczema cannot heal itself, because eczema is a skin infection disease. If not treated in time, the infection will worsen and it will also affect the healthy skin. Patients are advised to pay attention to it. When women have anal eczema, they should apply medication and pay attention to anal hygiene. This is the only way to cure the condition. They should not have sexual intercourse at this time.

Can anal eczema heal on its own?

No, anal eczema is a disease caused by the interaction of many factors, and bad habits are also one of the important factors that prevent it from healing on its own.

1. External factors

The main influencing factors include living environment, climatic conditions, diet, etc. If you live in a relatively humid and dark place, or have pets, hot climate, sunlight, ultraviolet rays, unclean underwear and bedding, etc., there may be pathogenic bacteria or the ability to breed pathogenic bacteria, causing the skin around the anus to be infected and multiplied by bacteria, causing anal eczema.

Overeating of fatty, greasy foods, strong tea, coffee, meat, beer, etc. will aggravate the symptoms of anal eczema.

2. Personal factors

From a scientific point of view, eczema is an immune response (allergic reaction) caused by a stimulating factor and is related to the function of the immune system. This also shows that eczema has a genetic tendency. In addition, excessive tension, fatigue, depression, insomnia, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal dysfunction, anorectal diseases and other personal factors can also cause anal eczema.

How do we treat anal eczema?

1. Apply ointment externally

Choose the topical ointment that suits you based on your eczema condition.

2. Hospital examination

Patients who discover the problem for the first time or who do not see any obvious effect after using a period of ointment should go to a regular hospital for examination to find out the cause and see if there is any possibility of lesions in other organs. Symptomatic treatment is the correct, fast and thorough approach.

3. Change your habits

From the reasons why anal eczema cannot heal itself, we can see that external factors directly affect the occurrence and development of anal eczema. Therefore, to cure anal eczema, we should start by changing small things in our lives:

1) Keep the environment clean, ventilated and not damp.

2) Change and wash underwear every day, expose bedding and clothes to sunlight regularly, and change underwear every six months.

3) Clean the anus after defecation and keep the skin around the anus dry.

4) Do not scratch the affected area with your hands, as scratching will make the condition worse.

5) Don’t use hot hands to relieve itching, this is a very wrong way.

6) In addition to fatty, greasy, spicy, fried and irritating foods, beer is one of the foods that produces the most moisture and is not suitable for patients with anal eczema.

7) Maintain a good mood. The impact of mood and spirit on anal eczema cannot be underestimated.

4. Active treatment

Anal eczema requires active and patient treatment. After defecation, you can try a cold salt water sitz bath or a Chinese medicine sitz bath, which has a good sedative, anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effect on anal eczema.

Chinese medicine prescription: Phellodendron 6g, Kochia scoparia 10g, Sophora flavescens 10g, Schizonepeta tenuifolia 10g, Saposhnikovia divaricata 6g, Dictamni cortex 10g. For acute anal eczema, add Atractylodes 10g, Plantago 10g, Alum 10g. For chronic anal eczema, add Chuanxiong 6g and Angelica 10g. Boil the juice in 2000 ml of water and take a sitz bath for 10 to 15 minutes. Do this once a day after defecation and before going to bed.

3. Bad habits

Because the affected area is extremely itchy, patients often scratch it with their hands or various props, causing the affected area to be torn. If it is not treated in time, the bacteria will multiply and fester again in the affected area, causing the perianal skin wound to heal and then flare up again, over and over again, and will not heal for a long time.

From the above, we can see that if you leave anal eczema alone, or if you treat the disease willfully in your life while undergoing treatment, anal eczema will not get better.
