Symptoms of pelvic adhesions

There are many causes of pelvic adhesion symptoms. It may be caused by symptoms of pelvic inflammatory disease or adnexitis, or it may be caused by symptoms of pulmonary tuberculosis. It is recommended that you better understand the causes of pelvic adhesion symptoms. We should promptly treat the causes of pelvic adhesion symptoms, otherwise it will cause our uterine infection to worsen, thus affecting women's fertility.

What causes pelvic adhesions?

1. Gynecological inflammation can cause pelvic adhesions, the most common of which are pelvic inflammatory disease and adnexitis. If patients do not receive regular and systematic treatment in a timely manner, it may lead to further bacterial or viral infection, thus causing pelvic adhesions.

2. For those with a history of tuberculosis, if the patient has ever suffered from tuberculosis, such as pulmonary tuberculosis, pelvic tuberculosis, etc., the tuberculosis bacteria can also cause pelvic adhesions, thereby affecting female fertility.

3. Endometriosis is the most common and most likely disease in adolescent women. Some endometriosis spreads to the ovaries, forming ovarian chocolate cysts; if it spreads to the pelvic cavity, it forms pelvic adhesions. They may experience more significant dysmenorrhea symptoms every time they have their menstruation. Some women even have to take leave to rest, which brings great inconvenience to their daily life and work.

4. Pelvic adhesion is also related to surgery on adjacent organs. Common pelvic surgeries include appendectomy, uterine fibroid surgery or ovarian surgery. If there is no regular anti-inflammatory treatment after surgery, infection is likely to occur. Pelvic adhesion is also one of the most common complications of these surgeries. Therefore, after these surgeries, we generally recommend that patients get out of bed and move around as soon as possible to prevent symptoms of pelvic organ adhesions.

Symptoms of pelvic adhesion can cause menstrual disorders, amenorrhea, low back pain, abdominal pain, ovarian anovulation, etc. Pelvic adhesion includes adhesion of the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. These organs play a very important role in the reproductive process. Once these organs are adhered, it will definitely affect the normal combination of sperm and eggs, and once there is an inflammatory infection, the secretions will definitely increase. These secretions accompanied by bacteria or viruses have the effect of killing sperm and affecting sperm motility. In this way, there are fewer normal and healthy sperm, which will definitely affect women's pregnancy and may even lead to fetal malformations, miscarriage and other situations.

Symptoms of pelvic adhesions

1. Most of the systemic symptoms are not obvious, sometimes there may be low fever and fatigue. The course of the disease is long, and some patients may have symptoms of neurasthenia.

2. Scar adhesions and pelvic congestion caused by chronic inflammation can cause lower abdominal distension, pain, and lumbar pain, which often worsen after fatigue, sexual intercourse, and before and after menstruation.

3. Due to pelvic congestion, the patient may have increased menstruation, ovarian dysfunction may cause menstrual disorders, and fallopian tube adhesion and blockage may cause infertility.

The occurrence of pelvic adhesions not only affects the physical health of women themselves, but may also affect women's pregnancy and may even cause fetal malformations, miscarriage, etc. Therefore, female friends should pay attention to their daily life and hygiene habits, take good care of their pelvic organs, and seek medical attention in time if related symptoms occur.
