The uterus can be said to be the most sacred organ in a woman's body, because this organ can help women conceive a new life and enter a new identity. However, some women may have some uterine diseases, the most common of which is uterine myositis. Generally, this disease will cause irregular menstruation in women and easily make women feel abdominal pain. So is uterine myositis serious? The inflammation spreads from the endometrium to the uterine body and deep into the myometrium, causing the uterus to become congested and edematous, and even to become suppurated and necrotic. This is called myometritis. Uterine myositis has the following hazards: (1) After sperm enters the uterine cavity, inflammatory factors such as bacterial toxins and leukocyte phagocytosis cause sperm death or reduced motility, reducing the number of sperm entering the fallopian tube, thus affecting fertility. (2) The fertilized egg has difficulty implanting in the inflamed endometrium, or anti-endometrial bodies cause implantation disorders, resulting in infertility. (3) The fertilized egg is not implanted stably, which is very easy to cause miscarriage and infertility Myometritis can be divided into acute and chronic. The main clinical manifestations of acute myometritis are fever, abdominal pain, lumbosacral pain, increased leucorrhea, and a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen; the main clinical manifestations of chronic myometritis are dull pain in the lower abdomen, irregular menstruation, and increased leucorrhea. Western medicine often uses sulfonamides and antibiotics to treat this disease. During the treatment period, pay attention to rest, eat a light diet, keep bowel movements smooth, and reduce sexual life, which will have a certain impact on pregnancy. Myometritis is different from endometritis. Compared with endometritis, myometritis often has a longer treatment cycle. If it is accompanied by dysmenorrhea and obvious pain during sexual intercourse, it is not myometritis but mostly endometriosis, also known as adenomyosis. The treatment is completely different. It requires testing CA125 anti-endometrial antibodies. Experienced doctors can distinguish them through examinations.
