Uterine adhesion ring

Uterine adhesion ring

I believe that many female friends do not know about the condition of intrauterine adhesions. This is mainly because the endometrium is adhered together. It is not suitable to insert an IUD at this time, because it will affect the treatment of the intrauterine mucosa and cause gynecological diseases and infertility. Therefore, the intrauterine adhesions should be cured before the IUD is inserted. When having an IUD inserted, you should pay attention to sexual moderation, otherwise it is easy to cause vaginitis or pelvic inflammatory disease.

Why do IUDs need to be inserted for intrauterine adhesions?

Generally, intrauterine adhesions are related to some postoperative inflammation. Patients with intrauterine adhesions are advised not to have an IUD inserted to avoid worsening inflammation while in Shanghai. Therefore, if you want to have an IUD installed, you must first cure the intrauterine adhesions and then have the IUD installed after the intrauterine adhesions have healed. It is recommended to go to the hospital for treatment in time in case of intrauterine adhesion. The IUD can have a certain inhibitory effect on intrauterine adhesions and is relatively good for uterine function.

What should women pay attention to after having an IUD inserted?

You should wait for a week or half a month before having sex after the IUD surgery, otherwise it may cause cervicitis. After the IUD surgery, you need to pay attention to some simple matters to avoid infection:

1. Rest for 2 days after surgery and do not do heavy physical labor within 1 week;

2. Avoid sexual intercourse and bathing within 2 weeks after surgery and keep clean;

3. Pay attention to whether the intrauterine device is dislocated within 3 months after insertion, especially during sex or bowel movements;

4. Regular check-ups are important to ensure the effectiveness of the intrauterine device. Once every 1-3 months, 6 and 12 months after surgery, and then once a year until it is removed or discontinued. Consult a doctor at any time for special circumstances.

How to check intrauterine adhesions?

1. Use iodized oil contrast examination for uterine. During the examination, there will be one or more filling defect shadows with clear outlines, sharp edges, and irregular shapes in the uterine cavity, and the shadows will not change due to the pressure of the contrast agent.

2. Use a uterine probe for examination. Generally, it needs to be inserted into your uterus to a depth of 1 to 3 cm to check if there is any adhesion problem. However, you need to be careful when using this method for examination. Even when the uterine tissue is relatively hard, you must pay attention to the strength. If too much force is used, it will cause uterine perforation and damage the health of the uterus.

3. Hysteroscopy. It can effectively penetrate into the uterus to check whether there is adhesion in the female's uterine cavity. If there is an adhesion problem, the location, range and degree of the adhesion can be determined. Therefore, this method is the most accurate for examination and can make separation surgery simpler and more effective.

Treatment principles for intrauterine adhesions

1. Use a cervical dilator or probe to separate adhesions.

2. Separate adhesions under direct hysteroscopy.

3. After separation of adhesions, place an intrauterine device (IUD) in the uterine cavity for 3-6 months to prevent adhesions from occurring again.

4. Artificial cycle treatment can be given after surgery, for 2-3 cycles.
