Urine test for women shows inflammation

Urine test is also a way to check the patient's body, and there are many indicators in the urine test that can show whether there is inflammation in the patient's body. Most people may have high uric acid when they are in the body. For patients with high uric acid, the most important way is to drink more water and eat more fruits. For women with inflammation in urine test, it is likely to be related to gynecology. So what should women do if they have inflammation in urine test?

1. What does a negative urine test for women mean?

A negative urine test result is normal, indicating that there is no problem in the urine. Because by testing urine, we can check whether there is inflammation in the urine and find out the condition of the body.

Urine tests can detect the following diseases:

1. Kidney disease: If there is a problem with the kidney, it will be shown in the routine urine test.

2. Urine protein test: If there is no abnormality in kidney function, then the amount of protein in the urine will be only a small part. If there is a problem with the kidneys and ureters, the amount of protein will increase during the urine test and it will become proteinuria. If the urine protein is negative (-) in your test report, it means your kidneys are normal. When the amount of protein in urine is above 0.15 g/24 h, it is called proteinuria (+). Such test results indicate that there is a problem with the kidneys.

3. Diabetes: One very important test when checking for diabetes is the glucose test, and ketone body test is also a key test item for diabetes.

4. Glucose (GLU) test: Healthy people will have very little urine sugar because the glucose in the urine has almost all been absorbed by the kidneys.

5. Ketone body (KET) examination: In patients with diabetes or diabetic acidosis, a strong positive (+++ or above) will appear in the urine test. This must be paid attention to as toxic coma is very likely to occur. Treatment measures must be taken as soon as possible.

6. Urinary tract infection: Nitrite and urine white blood cell tests are special examinations for urinary tract infection, which can detect diseases as early as possible.

7. Urine white blood cell examination: Excessive white blood cells in urine indicate inflammatory infection. Urinary tract infections such as cystitis, acute and chronic pyelonephritis usually occur.

To sum up, urine tests for women can detect the above diseases, so women should not underestimate urine tests. Only by doing regular physical examinations can they detect diseases in time, seize the opportunity for early treatment, and cure the disease in time. When doing a urine test, you should keep the midstream urine and send it for testing as soon as possible to avoid it being damaged and affecting the test results.

2. Five common misunderstandings of urine routine examination

1. Sudden increase in red blood cells

The reference range of red blood cell sediment is 0~2/HP, but patients often go to doctors with test reports that are out of range, worried that they have "renal bleeding or lower urinary tract bleeding." In fact, many women are excluded after the examination because their "conclusions" are based on menstrual urine samples and are unreliable.

Women's urine is often mixed with vaginal secretions. The sudden increase in red blood cells is actually most likely due to the menstrual period. In urine extraction, red blood cells are very important "examination objects".

Women must not do routine urine tests during their menstrual or ovulation period, because the red blood cell morphology is destroyed and the number will also change at this time. In addition, holding urine will also greatly damage the morphology of red blood cells, and the pH value of urine will also change accordingly.

2. Increased urine protein

Protein fluctuations and a positive result sometimes do not necessarily mean that the patient has nephritis. Urine protein is a relatively "active" substance. It varies greatly within 24 hours, and qualitative tests are relatively rough. A positive result sometimes does not necessarily mean that the patient has nephritis. Therefore, multiple measurements are needed to be confirmed.

Protein may be produced when the human body stands upright for too long, after strenuous exercise, or after drinking large amounts of milk. Physiological protein should also be avoided during the examination. In addition, urine specimens should not use preservatives; it is best to use urine tests after centrifugation; the urine pH value should be adjusted to 7.0 and checked in a timely manner. In addition, when doing quantitative analysis, it is advisable to use 24-hour urine creatinine quantification to evaluate the quality of urine specimens.

The qualitative analysis of urine protein in normal people is negative or weakly positive, and the quantitative analysis is less than 150 mg/24 h (if it exceeds this level, it is called "proteinuria"). Those who test positive do not need to be afraid, especially men, as they may have just performed strenuous exercise, in which case it is not surprising that the protein level increased, so further quantitative tests are necessary.
