What are the symptoms of low estrogen after childbirth?

Compared with men, women usually have higher levels of estrogen in their bodies. If the estrogen level of an ordinary woman is significantly low, there will be many dangers, such as early onset of menopausal syndrome. In addition, low estrogen can cause uterine atrophy, vaginal atrophy, breast atrophy, etc. In addition, if a postpartum woman has low estrogen, she will also have the following symptoms.

Symptoms of low estrogen after childbirth:

Estrogen is very important for women. Women in modern society are under great pressure in life, and many young female friends show symptoms of estrogen deficiency. So, what are the symptoms of low estrogen?

1. Hot flashes. Without any inducement, the feeling of heat spreads rapidly from the chest to the face and upper limbs, sometimes accompanied by palpitations and sweating. Some patients mainly suffer from nocturnal hot flashes, often waking up in the middle of the night, sweating all over. Hot flashes and night sweats are caused by estrogen deficiency, which leads to anarchic vasoconstriction and relaxation.

2. Back pain. The pain spreads to both sides along the spine. It is relieved when lying on your back or sitting, and is aggravated when standing upright or stretching back or standing or sitting for a long time. The pain is mild during the day and worsens at night and when waking up in the early morning. It is aggravated by bending over, muscle movement, coughing, or straining during bowel movements.

3. Dull skin. You can imagine the condition of your skin in the days before and during your period: dry, dull, and lacking in radiance, with fine wrinkles becoming more noticeable. During this period, the body has the lowest amount of estrogen.

4. Abnormal mental and neurological symptoms. Such as anxiety, depression, irritability, anger, crying, fatigue, crawling sensation on the skin, etc., always feeling like groups of ants are crawling on the skin and in the hair, which is very uncomfortable, but no abnormalities were found after dermatological examination.

5. Osteoporosis. During menopause, women's blood estrogen levels drop significantly, making them most likely to develop osteoporosis. Bones will become lighter, softer, more brittle, and more prone to fractures; height will decrease and the back will become hunchbacked; and symptoms of low back pain will appear.

6. Palpitations. Menopausal women say that this feeling is just like a guilty thief, which is very uncomfortable. When there is a sudden noise outside, sometimes the noise is not loud, but you will feel a panic, your heart will beat wildly, and it will take a long time for you to calm down. Repeated electrocardiograms, 24-hour electrocardiograms, and even treadmill exercise tests often show normal results, and at best they may manifest as sinus tachycardia during an attack.
