Vaginitis is a disease that women are more likely to suffer from. It is a relatively common disease. Many women have been troubled by this disease. If you suffer from vaginitis, you must actively seek treatment. Although vaginitis is prone to recurrence, it can be cured after treatment. Under normal circumstances, the physiological characteristics of healthy women give them better defense against the invasion of pathogens. The white substance on the labia may be caused by some vaginitis. It is recommended that you have a gynecological examination, test the routine leucorrhea, confirm the nature of the vaginitis, and then treat it according to the situation. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva. Symptoms of vaginitis Bacterial vaginosis: 10% to 50% of patients are asymptomatic, while those with symptoms complain of grayish-white leucorrhea with a fishy odor, vaginal burning and itching. Increased vaginal discharge is not a specific symptom of bacterial vaginitis. This type of vaginitis can often be combined with other vaginal sexually transmitted diseases, and its clinical manifestations may vary depending on the complications. Trichomonas vaginitis: Most cases are asymptomatic, but some patients have obvious manifestations, such as inflammation of the vaginal mucosa, which is bright red and covered with patchy pseudomembranes, often accompanied by foamy secretions, and varying degrees of itching and a few have a burning sensation. Leucorrhea increases and turns yellow-green. Frequent urination, urgency, pain, hematuria, abdominal pain, diarrhea, mucous stools, alveolar pus discharge, and tooth decay may occasionally occur. Vaginitis with fungal infection: Typical symptoms are vulvar itching and redness and swelling of the vaginal mucosa. The itching symptoms may be mild or severe, and may come and go. When the itching is severe, the patient may be restless, unable to sleep or eat, and may also experience pain during urination and pain during sexual intercourse. Another major symptom is increased vaginal discharge, which is usually thick and appears to be dregs or curd-like. Senile vaginitis: The main symptoms are increased vaginal discharge and vulvar itching and burning sensation. Examination of the vagina showed senile changes, with epithelial atrophy, disappearance of wrinkles, and smooth, thin epithelium. The vaginal mucosa is congested, with small bleeding spots and sometimes superficial ulcers. Vaginitis in children: Itching of the vulva and vagina, and increased vaginal discharge. The mucous membranes of the vulva, clitoris, urethral opening, and vaginal opening are congested and edematous. The secretions increase, and there may even be purulent secretions. The child may cry, become irritable, or even scratch with his hands. Parents must be careful because scratching may cause the infection to spread further. |
