2. Qi deficiency:

The main manifestations of Qi deficiency are: shortness of breath, laziness to speak, general fatigue, low voice, shortness of breath when moving, easy sweating, dizziness and palpitations, sallow complexion, loss of appetite, false heat, spontaneous sweating, rectal prolapse, prolapse of the uterus, pale and fat tongue with teeth marks on the edge of the tongue, weak pulse, etc. These are functional declines, not necessarily an illness. People with Qi deficiency need to replenish Qi. Medicines for replenishing Qi include ginseng, astragalus, codonopsis, etc.

Foods that replenish qi deficiency: beef, chicken, pork, glutinous rice, soybeans, white lentils, jujubes, crucian carp, carp, quail, eel, shrimp, mushrooms, etc., can be taken alternately;

Foods that should not be eaten when suffering from Qi deficiency: hawthorn, bergamot, betel nut, garlic, kohlrabi, radish greens, coriander, turnip, pepper, longan, middle finger, perilla leaf, mint, lotus leaf;

Avoid or eat less: buckwheat, grapefruit, tangerine, kumquat, kumquat cake, orange, water chestnut, raw radish, ground skullcap, mustard greens, leek, Jundacai, Amomum villosum, chrysanthemum, tea, and tobacco and alcohol.

Corresponding meals: Huaishan lily and lotus seed soup; stewed pigeon with ginseng and medicine; spiced beef; roasted pig's trotters with peanuts and dates.

In addition, while adjusting your diet, you should also learn to eat slowly and chew more. The finer the food is after it enters the stomach, the easier it is to be absorbed and transformed into qi and blood through the spleen and stomach.
