What to do if you have athlete's foot during confinement

Athlete's foot is a very common disease. It affects people of certain ages. Men, women, young and old can all suffer from it. After giving birth, women usually have to stay in confinement, which is a very special stage for women. If athlete's foot occurs during the confinement period, it must be treated in time and not be taken lightly. If you need to use medication, it is best to use it under the guidance of a doctor. Blind use of medication may affect the baby's health.

Many mothers start to take care of themselves after giving birth to their babies. The confinement period is a very sensitive period, and if you get some diseases, it is not particularly easy to deal with. For example, if you suffer from athlete's foot, it will be very unbearable if it is not handled properly. Then we can carry out preliminary treatment by using some topical medications, and keep our hands relatively dry when applying these topical ointments. We can also use some folk prescriptions to treat it, and the results are quite satisfactory.

First of all, athlete's foot is generally treated with some topical medications, and topical medications do not have any negative effects on breastfeeding mothers. However, it should be noted that when choosing topical medications, you must carefully read the instructions for use of some of the medications. Any medication that is prohibited for use by pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers should not be used. For safety reasons, place the ointment out of the reach of your baby's hands.

Secondly, you must pay attention to keep your hands dry and clean, and wash your hands frequently. Do not let the baby touch your affected area, and do not touch your feet with the baby's things. Do not use hands that have touched the feet. If you want to apply ointment, it is recommended that you use a cotton swab dipped in a little ointment to apply it, and try not to touch the affected area directly with your hands.

Finally, in addition to applying medicine, you can also use some folk prescriptions for treatment, such as soaking your feet in warm water with vinegar or salt for washing. Or use a fresh egg and 1000 ml of rice water. The method of use is to wash your feet with rice water for 10 minutes, then remove the thin film inside the eggshell and apply it to the affected area. The requirement for this method is to keep it for 1 to 2 hours and use it once a day. These methods are quite effective in treating athlete's foot.

What mothers need to pay attention to is that they should iron and wash socks regularly, wear fewer sneakers as much as possible, and wear more cloth shoes. This will keep their feet dry and clean, and will not give mold any chance to grow wildly. The socks, slippers, towels and bed sheets you wear on a daily basis should be boiled and disinfected to eliminate all opportunities for bacteria to multiply, prevent problems before they occur, and prevent athlete's foot from recurring.
