What causes red labia?

What causes red labia?

We usually say that girls must protect themselves. This protection does not only refer to protecting one's own personal safety, but also means that everyone should pay attention to their own health and avoid any bad problems. But sometimes, due to various bacterial problems, a girl’s labia may become red or even itchy. So how should we deal with it correctly at this time?

It should be inflammation. It is recommended that you understand how you got the inflammation. There are many gynecological inflammations, the most common ones are vulvar inflammation, urethritis, vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine inflammation, uterine fibroids, adnexitis, etc. The general symptoms are vulvar itching, yellowish or tofu-like leucorrhea with odor, sometimes itching, low back pain, dysmenorrhea, pain during sexual intercourse, etc. The specific symptoms are:

1. Urethritis: Urethritis is often manifested by symptoms of frequent urination, urgency and pain during urination. The pain is burning and worsens during urination, and may even lead to serious consequences such as urethral spasm.

2. Cervicitis: Cervicitis can occur in women of any age. The main symptoms are cervical congestion and edema, which may lead to cervical erosion in severe cases, often accompanied by changes in vaginal secretions, urinary urgency, frequent urination, lower abdominal pain, etc.

3. Vaginitis: Vaginitis is often manifested by vulvar itching, local erosion, increased vaginal discharge, accompanied by symptoms such as frequent urination and painful urination. If only conventional treatment means and methods are used for treatment, the treatment will not be thorough, resulting in repeated attacks or long-term treatment failure.

4. Pelvic inflammatory disease: Pelvic inflammatory disease is often manifested by high fever, chills, lower abdominal pain, increased vaginal discharge, odor, etc. Due to the anatomical structure of the tissue, it is a place where bacteria can easily breed and difficult to treat with drugs.

5. Uterine fibroids: Uterine fibroids are a benign tumor. Clinically, the common symptoms include abnormal menstruation, palpable masses in the lower abdomen, increased leucorrhea, back pain, lower abdominal distension, abdominal pain, and frequent urination.

6. Adnexitis: The symptoms of acute adnexitis are obvious, including fever, chills, severe pain in the lower abdomen, etc. Chronic adnexitis causes varying degrees of abdominal pain, or a feeling of heaviness and pulling in the lower abdomen, which may be mild or severe, accompanied by symptoms such as increased leucorrhea.

If you suspect that you have gynecological inflammation, you should first go to the gynecology department of a regular hospital for an examination to see what type of bacteria or chlamydia causes the inflammation. Then, treatment is carried out against the pathogen, such as the use of antibiotics, Chinese herbal lotions, suppositories, etc., and the treatment regulations must be followed, such as not having sex during treatment, drinking plenty of water, resting more, paying attention to personal hygiene, changing underwear frequently, etc. Finally, you need to analyze what behavior of yours caused the inflammation, and then take measures to avoid this behavior and prevent repeated infection. In fact, it is not a serious inflammation. As long as it is treated symptomatically, it can be cured quickly. Don’t worry!
